Ok so i brought in my generator and i had lady come out and i had choke set wrong so it ran hard but i adjusted the choke and she said it doesnt run good even thou it started on first pull. And ran good after i adjusted choke! She went inside and said sorry for my rudeness its been a long day and i shouldnt take it out on you. Well she told the manager to look at it and he sent some other guy that seen it started right away like the first time and he went and whispered to manager and its a 800$ generator only used one day and they offered 30$ for something they didnt even look up if they would of looked it up they woukd of seen it was a 800$ generator. And the girl that was rude as hell came up to me and whispered we are almost closing maybe try back tommorow because we are literally almost out of money and im only telling you this because i was rude before and feel bad because they are literally low balling you. Wth!! And when the male employee came out to my truck he said that girl doesnt know what she is talking about just ignore her. I know i am not getting 800$ i thought i could get a loan for $200 at most to pay for my chemo meds. But never asked what i was looking to get i would of taken 150$ if it means not getting sick which my meds were anti nausia meds, and pain meds from the cronic cough from my esoghagus cancer. Anyways this place is ridiculus and i strongly advice to take ur buisness else where. I went to another pawn shop and they gave me 275 dollar loan and saud if i wanted to sell it they would pay 330 because we could sell it for 500$

So... We went there to sell our 48 port switches because we are getting rid of used server equipment. I thought this would be a good idea seeing as they sold switches in there inventory. We werent looking for any crazy price for them $40 for the pair would have been good enough. This brings be to meat and potatoes of this review. They said they wouldnt take them because we have no way of testing them because, we didnt bring a power cord with us. This shouldnt be a big deal they should have one in the back or just use on laying on the shelf. As far as testing if the port functions. You can see the boot on the left hand side to make sure it boot correctly. Just to make sure I wasnt wrong with one small detail. The switchable they had there DID NOT have cords with them. So why did they take theres but not ours? I asked someone on the floor if they could bring someone out from the back to ask why they took the example that they took switches right infront of me. To which the guy responded you have to talk the people in the back. Which we already did... The guy walked to the back... "They already told you no!" I would have understood if they would have said we arent looking to buy any more or some other more legitimate excuse. What they did is just lazy and rude. I hope they would consider asking them selfs a question. How much money do we plan on losing because we are so bad at dealing with customers. Have a nice day and make sure to remember would I shop here? I hope the answer is no at this moment.

Why is it everyone thinks that you can walk into a pawn store and get close to face value for your stuff. It really doesnt matter how much YOU paid for it, its only worth that to you. Pawn brokers use certain sites to evaluate the resale value of your item, and there are many factors that play into that decision. Most pawn stores use eBay to cost items that you bring in, and eBay is very effective for listing current resale values. So...lets say your item is listed on one of these sites with a resale value of $100, the pawn broker is going to offer you less than half of that resale value. This is how companys like this stay in business. If every pawn store gave everyone what they think their item is worth, or what they paid for it, there would not be any pawn stores in business. Maybe instead of knocking a business just because you didnt get every penny you wanted, or you had to wait for 20 min because you came in behind 40 other people, you could just be grateful that businesses like this exist to give you those "emergency funds".

I always buy and sell here and never really had any issue before But some how I was selling my things and the sells person was giving me the eye roll and walking away. The sells person didnt even check the barcode or model number and told me the price already. Every time I sell my things to you guys every other sells person always checks the model number and what brand. When i told that person to look it up they grabbed it and checkdd and slam it on the counter aftet that person was down looking at it. Then offer me a diffrrent price which i just took it back. That sells person was Talking to me like I was stupid. The sales person toss my stuff around after sells to the other side of the desk top. When that sales person told me to sign the papers they toss the pen and paper at me and told me to sign and date. That sells person was talking to me like i was lower than her and everything. I felt super disrespected and not welcomng any more.

Pawn America clearly falsely inflated their google rating. When i wrote my first review they were somewhere between 1 and 2 stars. Now theyre supposedly 4+? Give me a break. Heres why thats a fake rating.. The service is unbelievably slow. Long lines every time. Half the pawn-brokers are rude. Youll see 10 people standing in line with one person working the counter and even though there are multiple pawnbrokers, nobody else is in any hurry to help. Then you finally get to the counter and they offer less than half of what a competitor like Mister Money would. The only reason i would go here is if I was desperate to get a loan on a sunday when Mister Money is closed. They have had poor service for over two years and have yet to make any noticable changes. Worst pawn shop in town.

This place was ok the first few times i went there. Then i was in desperate need of some cash, so i gathered up my dan wesson revolver, holster, 60 shells, speed loaders, all the tools that came with it and i brought it in still in the box. It was a value of $250.00 plus and a african lady was working, she only gave me $30 for EVERYTHING!! never asked me how much i needed she just basically said its just a bb gun. Yeah a $120.00 dollar bb gun alone. Not including everything else i brought. What a joke seriously! I had to take the 30 for gas on a loan. It was only enoigh for the gas to get home! She didnt care! I am so regretful that i even went there. Never again!! If you are trying to sell or get a loan dont go here. I warned ya.
