One of the sales associates I like a bit, he is very nice every time I go it. Prices are a little high, but maybe negotiable. I went in to see what they would pay for some silver and a benchmade knife. The girl said she thought I was trying to sell the plastic container that had a silver coin in it, which is just a ridiculous idea and I see no possible train of thought that lead her to believe this. They offered me $5.00 for my 1 ounce silver coin, which is a bit insulting. I cant believe anyone would accept that price. Any other coin dealer or pawn shop pays silver price for them, which would be $23.00 at the time, or at least they pay close to it. My friend came in with me and wanted to see what they would pay for some silver dimes. I heard the guy at the counter say "We dont buy dimes. They will give you 10 cents for them at the register." I asked, a different day, if they bought nice knives because I saw they had some cheap generic ones for sale, and they said they would buy them. The girl said they dont buy them, that is fine, but she made me seem like "I should know better", when I was told they bought them. Im sure the staff working there are only there because its a job, but I would hope the staff of a pawn shop would be more knowledgeable, or the prices more fair. Exclude the one gentlemen in the front that is extremely nice, intelligent, and even remembers me when I come in. I looked at some gemstones, and earrings also. They were overpriced because they were generally cloudy, chipped, and scratched.

Revisited the store today. Store was dirty. Items for sale were dirty. Employees were rude and disinterested in helping me. Asked employee to plug up a television so I could see if it worked. Employee told me we had to go way over there to plug it in. Then stated everything we sell here works. We did plug up the television and it did not work properly. lol Employees are very rude. The pawn counter is SLOW. It took over an hour for them to service three people. The employees also enforce different policies depending on who waits on you. That leads to great frustrations. I have called the store on several occasions. Sometimes the phone call goes unanswered. Other times they transfer you and that call goes unanswered. Other times I have been placed on hold for up to 10 minutes. They always treat the customers like they dont want to be bothered. I have complained once to the on duty manager about how rude the employee had treated us. He asked me what he was supposed to do. Well theres the trouble. If you can ignore the attitude, they have amazing deals. Especially on DVDs and video games. I bought several electronic items and all have been good quality items and were at a great price. They have inadequate parking with an awkward design. They have a security officer on site but they mostly play on their phones or walk around looking miserable. Im unsure their purpose. None of them gave me a feeling of security.

Normally have good service until today. For one the agent Sandy makes u feel like a low life. Believe me Id rather not have to get a loan to get my car brakes fixed but I do. I brought the same 2 items I have before (2 weeks ago) for a loan,well Sandy for what ever reason decided they gave me to much money last time so took it in the back and asked a supervisor. She came back and said they gave me 25 dollars to much so she could only give me a loan on it for 100 not 125.00. First off REALLY. 2nd the agent 2weeks ago had to get a approval for the amount so somebody in the back thought 125.00 was okay. This same agent was extremely unhelpful the first time I was ever in that store. Sandy said something was not possible to do and that was it. Well for the heck of it I asked another agent the next time I was in and that agent was extremely helpful and came up with a solution. This type of business knows that this is the only option some people have and unfortunately take advantage of people. I needed the money so I smiled and said thank you. Its sad on how some peaple can be. The 2 employees that helped me before,thank you for your great customer service.

I always find deals when I shop at this location, roughly once per month. The major problem at this location is space. I buy video games and small electronics, all of which have very little shelf space. The staff are really helpful, but there needs to be a better way of showcasing the video games. In regards to pricing, the Milwaukee market is cheaper and more thrifty. Theres still plenty of money to be made in this market however. Pricing on small electronics, video games, and movies are very reasonable for the quality of the items. The computers seem to be overpriced, but that market fluctuates more then the others. This location had a difficult time opening from what Ive heard because local townships are nervous about an increase in crime. Ive never had any issues while shopping. With the recent closures of Mega Media locations, my friends and I will be shopping here more often. I really do hope management will consider opening additional locations and spreading the inventory out a bit.

It was my first time pawning somthing at pawn america As i walked in, the line was TOO LONG as i was waitting in line it was taking awhile so i was kinda getting inpatient but as i was waitting i was curious of what people were getting for their pawns and when the employees gave him a firm price he was not satisfied with so i relized why the line was taking so long, peoples greed and taking it out on employees. so i was next up i was kinda nervous pawning my item but the young fine lady friendly greeting made me feel comfortable. she explained to me how pawning works with loans and so on while she was answering other peoples questions (she must of been working thir for awhile) as shes putting in my information offerd me a reasonable price and left very satisfied i probably would have left if it wasnt for the young lady greeting so thank you shanta or chanta ... Or Christina not too sure her name but somthing near there but id give em 5 stars pawn America

One star is too much. Absurd prices. You can buy a majority of the same exact products for the same price or even cheaper NEW! Everything is dirty and nasty. Thought I could get a deal on some used power tools. I looked up prices on certain brands and models and most of the stuff there could be purchased at Menards and Home Depot brand new for the same price or less with a warranty. Absolutely laughable. $24.99 for a used Iron Man 3 blueray!? A 3 disc set of Iron Man 1,2 and 3 on blueray is $24.99 at Best Buy. Brand New! Grundgy used Wii controllers that looked like they were used buy someone who was working on a car while using them for $14.95. You can buy a brand new OEM controller with sleeve and nunchuck for the same price online with free shipping. If your gonna ask over the top prices, you think maybe someone could at least wipe the stuff off? Do they even have internet and people who know how to google to set prices? What a dump.
