The place is a ghost town with no employees to help you with any questions and if you are lucky enough to catch one, they are no help. Not worth going to period. I called ahead to make sure they held the item I wanted, then they told me to come out there and get it ( which is 45 mins away ) I did so. When I get there the sales staff from the department ( only 1 of them, which was on the phone the whole time) didn"t ask if i needed help so i had to hunt someone down who was willing to help me. That person had no knowledge of my item being on hold. He spent 3 mins looking n came back to tell me that dont have my item and then tries to sell me his item which wasnt what I drove almost an hour for. I talked to the store manager and still she wasnt even willing to take even 10% off of my item and she was charging me full price even though it was a sale item online and in the store and there other stores. Worst customer service!!! Do not go here!!! Also nothing in the add gets marked in this store, they simply dont care. Its sad and pathetic

The staff were friendly except for one. Me and my cousin decided to attach the parts we just bought for our guns outside the car while in their parking lot. So a worker kindly asked us to put them away so we got in the car to do it. The other worker called the cops on us anyway clearly in hopes of getting us arrested. Mind were black and she was white. Clearly she was motivated to do this based on race. Glad theyre going out of business. Cop tried his best to find a reason to take us in. We didnt get a ticket or anything, just a warning. Made everyone feel salty because everything they checked was 100% clean and legal.

Ive had a long experience with Gander Mountain that spanned several years. The only time I would buy anything is when I dont want to drive 50 minutes or longer to Cabelas. Why? Because its prices are inflated and its sales are illusory. The new CEO said they will have more selection and better prices. Well, they have always had the selection; it is the prices that is setting them back. An example: last week they had a couple of Kahr .380 magazine in clearance sale. The price: $39.00 each. Well you can buy them any place at $34.00 regular price. Only the uninformed buys at Gander Mountain!!!

Ive never been so displeased with service for anything in my life. I get to the gun shop in back, and by design you have to ask someone to take a look at the selection there. I was continually ignored for 20 minutes by reps who were acting busy but accomplishing nothing. One walked right by, looked me in the eye, and kept walking. A simple "I will be right with you sir" would have been enough for me, but not these guys. What a bummer, its the closest place for me but im taking my gun purchasing business elsewhere.

Called ahead for Archery service. Was informed that draw weight, and length adjustment was an in house, same day service. Showed up for service and was told "If we arent busy, itll be about 2 weeks". Dishonesty lost a long time customer today. Especially when the store manager decided that it was a good idea to say "Id never buy someone elses used POS". Its a $600+ bowtech that was in new condition. Very disrespectful, while I never even gave them any problems for their dishonesty.

Waited over an hour in line to pick up my gun I had purchased. one guy at counter. 3 people ahead of me . still one ahead of me after one hour. Paper work why cant they have people picking up guns fill out the paper work all at the same time.Instead of the worker standing there for 20 min. while each person fills it out. I had to leave. still do not have my gun. multi tasking. Not like the guy stood there while the people filled it out . pissed off

Went here for spring river supplies and they still had their ice fishing stuff out even though Ive has been gone for a month. You would think they would be more in touch with whats going on if they want to make more sales. Clothing selection is weak with anything on clearance not being much of a deal. I heard gander is going under. Im not suprised at all. Im dissapointed that this is where I have to go only to not find what im looking for.

Gander mountain has a reputation for being a little expensive and I think everyone that shops there expects that. This store however is very small and doesnt have the inventory like some other gander mountains. Ive been to probably about 5 or 6 different ones and this is easily the worst. The customer service at this one is really lacking. Only 1/5 employees seem willing to help or happy to be there. Wouldnt suggest this store.

The manager is rude and they do not want to help or work with people. They have the same product for sale with two different prices on the shelf. They say they match prices for the same product as their competitors but when you make the purchase they dont match the prices all the time..... You would think that in this day and age they would do that and be thankful for business and not be rude and ungrateful to people.

Consumers beware!! Cashiers are not properly trained and will ask you if want a reward card but fail to tell you that you applying for a credit card. They still allow you to swipe your regular credit card as if you are making your purchase on your card but then you get a bill in the mail along with the new credit card!! Manager could care less!! Now i have a credit card that i will never use!!

I was reading the other reviews and just had to chime in. I love Gander Mountain especially the Kenosha store, but the Franklin store is terrible. I have been in on three separate occasions looking to buy a shotgun and the employees at the gun counter are very rude and arrogant. Each of the three times I was in I wasnt helped. Needless to say never bought a gun from them.

Probably the best customer service I have experienced at any retailer. Both times I went to this store, the sales people were friendly and genuinely interested in helping me find what I needed. Warren, who helped me in the fishing section of the store, was such a great guy. Will definitely be coming back in the future!

I give there selection 5 stars and there prices 1 star which evens out at 3 stars. Friendly customer service though, so add 1 extra star. Even though they are pricey I find myself going there often because they do have such a large selection. They almost always have what you need when it comes to the great outdoors!

Delicious food and great atmosphere! I came with a couple of coworkers and I was presently surprised with the inside. Very nice interior, nice bar, and great music played. I had the lamb shank, it was delicious! Perfectly cooked with a nice sauce. It came with beans and rice, which complimented the dish perfectly.

Do not get their rewards card. It is a credit card thats charged even if you swipe your personal card. Statements dont arrive or are "return mailed" so you never see this and the 25% interest rate compiles the whole time. At the same time the staff is great and have had pleasant experiences with them.
