I bought a dog bed from Orvis - one of the nice, big ones. After a while, its seam came apart on the inner pillow. I called customer service and they asked me to send it back so they could replace it. I sent it via UPS, they lost the bed, and theyve been promising a replacement for 3 months now. I got so tired being lied to and wasting all this time with them on the phone (I had to tell them the story and information every single time since they kept losing all my information too) - I finally just ended up going to Target and getting a replacement. Stay away from this company. Their products look great, but their customer service is nonexistent if you need their help.

I called Chicago and in speaking to JOSH, got your catelogue rep, Anthony, assisting me in an additional 3 pair purchase of your leather trimmed Mens corduroys! LOVE THEM, and havent taken my original pair off, only to try on the lesser priced purchase that I sampled before Christmas.They were nice as well. The staff was SUPERB and made me feel so comfortable. They answered ALL my detailed questions and made sure I had the gear I needed without the usual up-selling. I bought a rod, reel, lines, flies and case. Even my mother enjoyed shopping around the store getting great deals on high quality products. If youre in the Chicago area, be sure to stop in and learn from the pros! This was the best fly store shopping experience Ive ever had...most DEFINITELY will be revisiting in the future! Orvis, you are amazing! I have owned several Orvis rods, waders, and reels over the years and have always appreciated the product quality. However, you have just proven yourself an awesome customer service company. I just received my 20 year guarantee rod back after breaking a reel seat where I begged for a quick turnaround in time for a trip to the Bob Marshall Wilderness in 2 weeks. You returned it to me in 10 days!! You have just sealed the deal on a lifetime customer.

Top-notch anglers work in this shop and its fly-fishing equipment reflects that. They know what flies are working and where the fish are biting. If you plan to pursue Salmon, Steelhead, Lake Run Browns, or any Lake Michigan fish, dont call them. Visit them. Check this place out. The secret will be unlocked. Tight lines. Good fishing.

Went in to buy a coat and the place was empty. Spent 10 minutes trying on coats without one "hello" or "can I help you"...not even a "goodbye" when I decided to take my business elsewhere. Like their product, but checking Orvis off my list.

I really like the Ontario location - it has mostly gear for the outdoors, whereas the other Orvis stores carry larger items, but its a great place to check off my lists for my trips-
