I had taken my girls to look around and possibly get info about their hamsters. Well, my Daughter fell in love with a guinea pig that they had in a cage with her other two 6 week old sisters, which werent quite ready to go to their forever homes yet, and their mother. So, we waited 4 days for the call that she was well and healthy and could come home. We of course went to Animart before they closed that night. We were poorly informed and taken care of, for one. For two, we were extremely rushed and talked to in a very rude manner. It seemed that rather than make sure that were giving a small animal to a new family, they were mainly concerned with getting us out the door so they could close and go home. To top it off, after we got home and opened the box to introduce the guinea pig to her new surroundings, like we were told to do, we not only didnt have the 6 week old female that we held 4 days earlier and were led to believe we had brought home with us, but we brought home the mother, whom we were told absolutely nothing about, which also was pregnant and delivered 3 babies a couple weeks later. A blessing in disguise? Maybe ♡ I believe that everything happens for a reason. However, the employees at this store, I cannot even pretend to be impressed with.

The store itself was very well kept looking and organized. The staff seemed friendly as well, so thats always a plus. The rabbit cages really needed a cleaning and the Hedgehog should be more in a cage like the guinea pigs or rabbits were, verses the one it was in. I would also suggest/recommend having people/workers handling some of the animals more often, especially the Hedgehog & snakes. The way they were acting, you could tell they hadnt been handled much. But other than that, I thought it was a really nice place! Will definitely be stopping in alot!

A woman I think named Julie was so extremely helpful to me with a product they dont carry any longer. She went to her computer and printed me out an owners manual (free of charge!) for the fish tank I have that Ive found to be discontinued. I was able to call the company from the manual she gave me and they told me its able to be ordered (parts) under another name. Also she took more time with me about dog food for our Shih Tsu and gave me a sample of food. I will always go back to them!

Be careful if you have guinea pigs, there are 1 or 2 staff members who are COMPLETELY UNEDUCATED about them. The lady told me it was safe to purchase tea tree oil shampoo for my guinea pigs & luckily I knew better because if I had shampooed my 7 guinea pigs with it they wouldve all been dead by the next morning. But otherwise its a beautiful store with very knowledgeable staff.

Usually friendly. This time I had a lady by the name of April check me out. She wasnt friendly and I asked her for a paper bag for my 2 bags of crickets because my hands were full. She told me they dont give out bags in the summer because they loose money by giving bags. REALLY!!! Very rude when she said it.

Had my sons birthday party here. Bea was leading the party with Katie training. They were great 9 boys all around 7 can be a handful. They kept them interested and occupied. Having his party here was stress free. One of the easiest parties to plan. Thank you ladies.

Super knowledgeable staff ! Its great to shop in an environment where you can always find a helpful, knowledgeable staff member that loves what they do. These are helpful people that love animals. It is evident and extremely helpful!

I have to drive there from Watertown because its the closest pet store that Im able to get lizard food for. Everyone is very knowledgeable and super friendly and their new groomers are fantastic and are our new permanent groomers.

Very expensive to get pets. Especially dogs. Even cross breeds are close to a thousand dollars and full breeds go up from there. Plus all dogs are spayed or neutered. But includes all shots just for puppies first year.

Way over priced , Not that happy about the customer service here . Its like they do not have a clue .. People do not want to pay for a street stray cat 199.99 Are you kidding me .. do not think that is good at all .

Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Pets are always welcome. The store is always clean and well organized. Staff is always willing to help if you cant find something or just need help getting a bag of food down.

It is a very warm and inviting atmosphere with many employees happy and willing to help you. Your furry friends are also allowed in the store as long as they are on a leash.
