Staff is helpful and friendly. Cat food is well priced; however, cat litter is more expensive than surrounding grocery stores. It used to be a good destination for sunflower kernels for wild bird feeding but they stopped carrying the large bag so it is no longer cost effective and I shop the pet/feed supply store in Mequon for this. The pricing and product line is a corporate decision and not reflective of the individual store. I suppose many shoppers want to buy everything at one location and do not check pricing carefully. Their parking lot is difficult to "navigate." It is steep in sections so backing out is difficult. Park at the side where it flattens out. The savings card the company offers is worthwhile. It does save money.

I am disappointed because we have 5 pet rabbits , and we have grown to depend on this location for their hay, of which we use Orchard grass. I had a talk with the manager a year ago, about bringing in the larger bales of the Oxbow orchard grass. It seemed to be just the thing and we were able to get it there without a problem for a long time. We cannot use the Timothy hay, since we are both allergic to it. NOW, it has been over 2 weeks, and they seem to not carry it anymore. This means I have to drive all the way out to Brookfield to get it, or take my chances online. (Quality varies) the staff there is very nice, and if you have a cat or dog, it is obviously who they prefer to sell to.

I dont understand all the hate. I think people are only inclined to write a review when they had a bad experience. Dont pay attention to all the bad reviews, this is a great place to go for your pet needs. Prices were very fair and I think I saved some good money by shopping here instead of the natural pet food places. I buy Fromm for my dog so the big box retailers dont carry it so I decided to try this store. Glad I did! Everyone was super friendly when I brought my puppy in as well. They have a large selection of everything! I have gone to big box stores in the past and they dont have nearly the amount of toys these guys do. I was very surprised.

Not only did Pet Supplies fail to have the brand of food my dog eats (Innova Large Breed Adult), but the employees were curt with me and had zero knowledge about dog food nutrition (one actually told me that "animal by-product is better for dogs than salmon meal"!). In addition, there was a puddle of stale urine in an aisle while several employees loitered around without bothering to clean it up. Ive had too many bad experiences here to ever go back. They really dont care about their customers. I think they just buy the most common stuff at the lowest prices they can find. The place smells, and they have a bunch untrained & uninformed workers there. Unless you want a cheap can of Alpo, Id go somewhere else for sure. p.s. - they are well known for putting Pacu in small tanks there. They always outgrow the tank and yet they keep doing it over & over again.

Once a month I give them a call on a Monday...and by Wednesday the order for my cats special diet has arrived and they call to let me know. It saves me driving around town and the price on the particular item is the best Ive found locally. I like the feeling of a "Ma & Pa" shop, and the employees are nice and helpful. However, when its busy, it can be difficult to find an employee who is available to help.

Follow up to my previous review. I was told via this site that someone from that location would reach out to me regarding my pets needs, and it has been over a week and nothing. I guess this location isnt eager to help small animals? I am very disappointed, the customer service has been spotty, and having to make a special order each time I need to feed my animals is unacceptable.

Great staff. One girl in particular saw me browsing in the cat aisle and came up to give advice- she was very knowledgable about all of their products and gave me good suggestions as they have so much variety. As I continued to shop other employees were also very friendly and every one of them acknowledged me. Glad to support a local business with such great employees.

Ive always liked Pet Supplies Plus, but I love them even more now that theyve stopped selling live animals. They focus on customer service and keeping everything stocked well! Everyone is very friendly with me without being overbearing. *Treat everyone with kindness and courtesy and you will receive the same.*

Not gonna lie, their prices are a little high. But I will pay for convenience and supporting local - this is an interdependently owned franchise and the people are great (will help you load cat litter or big bags into your car), the inventory seems fresh and theres always parking.

Very organized, neat and complete. About 8 people were working when I went in and as I wandered around I think all 8 politely asked if I needed help. Good selection, good staff. I brought my dog with me and that helped me pick some of the right things, like a winter coat that fit.

They are so pet friendly. Offer your dog a treat with your permission. Offer help and answer questions without a problem. Dont push you toward any specific type of food. Knowledgeable about the products. They recognize regular customers . We, my family and pets, love it there.

I think the store is just fine for buying pet food etc. The one on 76th street has a larger selection and has a less dingy feel though. My complaint is the parking lot. It is less than ideal (it is on a huge slope!) for a shopping cart especially when wet or icy.

Friendly staff that is always willing and ready to help. Some days you enjoying not having to carry that 30 lb bag of dog food to the car. Im not sure if they still have the birthday club where u get a coupon in the mail for a free toy for your pets birthday.

Awesome store with a great food selection. The staff was amazing in my experience. A gentleman carried a very large, awkward and heavy cat tower to my car and helped load it inside! To me, thats really going above and beyond!! Keep it up!!!

Huge selection and great prices. Ill be going here from now on for everything but food - they dont carry the brand my dog eats. Other than that, its really convenient, well laid out and clean/organized, and the employees were friendly.
