This place is a mess. The only way to tell where sections are is by stopping at the only map of the store. There are no signs hanging from the ceiling or on the walls to tell you where the mens, womens, shoes, kids sections are. Actually, there is one sign but it says "Juniors" section but it is in the area with the womens business clothes. So basically the only sign in the whole store is wrong. Additionally, clothes on hangers are not sorted by size and all the clothes not on hangers were unfolded and moved around. I dont know if this place is understaffed or what, but Ive never seen a clothes store as bad as this (besides Goodwill). I was looking for jeans and when I finally found where they were, they were so disorganized and messy that I couldnt even find my size in any style.

This Yakima store is a disgrace to the JC Penney name, we tried shopping in the window covering department and you couldnt walk through some aisles because of all the products laying scattered on the floor and the merchandise storage behind the displayed curtains was half empty and in such disarray you couldnt find anything. As we walked through the store you could see products in all departments on the floor and kicked under clothing racks and display stands. The staff was not busy and for the large part just socializing. The check out has never been helpful and often rude and inexperienced. We shopped at the Columbia Center JC Penney in the Trilby Cities yesterday and the store was very clean, the staff helpful and knowledgeable, making it a pleasant experience.

One of the most uncomfortable experiences I have ever had at a retail store. I went to return some items I purchased offline and the girl behind the counter was completely unprofessional. She complained numerous times that "this is so much stuff" and "this is going to take forever". I had no idea returning 9 shirts was a huge problem. I will not be returning here and will be canceling my JCPENNEYS credit card.

This is an honestly disposable store. The tables of clothes and hanger are never proper. There is always merchandise all over the floor. You can never find a sales associate on the floor. And if you look at the floor you can tell no one has swept the floor in weeks. DO NOT SHOP HERE!
