The deals are great. The customer service was horrible! The first time I went was also bad but I decided to give it another try. That was a mistake. The lady at the dressing rooms looked mad and pissed off. She glared at me and at everyone in line. She obviously hated her job and did show it. She also talked to me like I was stupid. Later on when I went to check out the lady looked up at me and sighed, like it wasnt her job to ring people up. She kept sighing throughout the whole transaction. She also just threw my clothes in the bag, with out even folding it. Lastly she put my bag on the counter and called for the next person, without even making putting the receipt in the bag. I had to literally rip it of the machine thing. I have been to lots of Rosss before this is by far the worst one. I dont plan on shopping here anymore.

Nope. Just nope. I dont know why I return to this place. Not only do they rarely have anything I need, they are poorly organized, the checkers seem to be borderline bored/pissed that you are there giving them money. The last time we were there we were actively paying with the card machine and the lady pushed our stuff nearly onto the floor but called the next customer before we even slid the card through. she was rude and very short with us. When we asked if everything was okay she just looked at us impatiently holding the next customers item in her hands as if we were the problem. Needless to say we had a very horrible time here.

I love the deals you can get at Ross but I hate shopping there. The security guards at the entrances make me feel like im shopping at wal mart. The staff working inside are always a little too intense about their work procedures, especially when it comes to the dressing room. The smell is another thing that has bothered me for years, every time I go in there it smells like a dirty city street. And why do I have to take my own receipt, seems a little strange. The only reason I go is for their good deals and thats about it.

Great selection on shoes and sweaters but hardly any decent tops. The cashier was rude, she was tossing things around and treating my items like they were being discarded not purchased. The security guard acted like everyone who wasnt an older white female was there to shoplift. Definitely never going there again. Horrible staff.

Great products for great prices, if a bit haphazardly organized. A big and tall section would be useful. More signs could help, as I almost didnt notice the downstairs area of the store. They were also out of stock of a lot of things, a lot of empty shelf space, but maybe they had a really good Friday.

The place stinks. No, Im not talking their selection (which is pretty dismal too) Im referring to the ongoing plumbing issues that make the place reek. Ive walked into porta-potties that smell better than the store. The building is old and in serious disrepair; this is where clothes go to die.

Your experience with Ross will depend upon what they happen to have in stock that particular day or not. This location seems to be overly concerned with shoplifting and having loss prevention staff posted at each door eyeing you as you enter and exit can be unnerving.

I like the wide selection that is constantly being updated, however recently Ive found that many of the clothes I find labeled in my size end up being weirdly proportioned (shirts too long, sleeves tight/short, etc). I hope they get this figured out soon!

Every time I come here I find something special, be it a shirt, jacket, kids toys, or even kitchenware. It is a shame that there is only one bathroom and the elevator reminds me of the tower of terror at Disneyland

They typically have good deals on name brand items. It is never the best organized with clothes not in the proper size category. Dont go during the Thursday farmers market, it is a warzone in their.

Its Ross, but oddly not as nice as you would expect being in downtown slo. Its a little small, 2 levels, but alwayse seems a little empty of what I am looking for. The one is Pismo is better.

Bathroom line is always long they beed to have more then one bathroom. The cashiers are always slow ive spent more then 15 min in line for the cashier to help one person who had 2 items.
