My girlfriend and myself have come through Nevada City several times in the last two years to visit family, and we always make a point to stop in to Maiden Lane. She loves the clothes, I love the food and the goodies. The staff (which my girlfriend just informed me are the owners as she looks over my shoulder) are very warm, very helpful and wont try to push anything on you - talk about RARE in this economy. Everything is modern, hip and fun and its not expensive at all. Were looking forward to stopping in again this winter :)

Maiden Lane offers such a nice variety of clothing, books, travel gear, jewelry and much more. The store is bright and fun to browse through, and the owners are charming. Always very warm and friendly, and you leave feeling like you just made a new friend. The inventory is pretty fun too!

Great little store, got just what I needed for the night when I had a clothing issue on vacation. The lady at the front was very sweet as well.
