If you are looking for a "real" automotive parts store that is well stocked with a friendly knowledgeable Staff, including a complete full service professional Machine shop that does excellent work at very fair prices, NATIONAL AUTO PARTS in Sumner Wa. , is where you need to go. This Auto Parts Store & Machine Shop is one of the very few real quality ones left in existence. If PIP BOYS & O REALLY doesnt quite cut it for you , possibly due to the fact that 99% of their staff knows zip about Machine work & less about trucks, cars, parts and the application of them, than my Dalmatian, and basically could care less. Believe me, its worth the few minutes extra to make the short drive to NATIONAL AUO PARTS & MACHINE SHOP in Sumner Wa. Once you get there, deal with them, or have Machine work done, youll be glad you did, and know that I am telling you the straight deal.

They should be embarrassed to call themselves a machine shop. I simply needed to get my head resurfaced with a low RA (around 15-25) and the guy at the front desk was clueless to what that even was. He then went back and talked to someone more "experienced" and said they have nothing that measures RA. Any basic machine shop should have these tools. Anyways he was extremely rude after that and said there was nothing we can do for you. I will not be going back.

My grandpa would bring me down here when I was little, to get parts for his old Willys Truck, they always treated us real good and it was the only parts store my grandpa would go to. If I want air freshener or some other nick knack Ill stop at one of the other guys but when I need parts and information I can trust I will only come here.

My go to place since i had my first vehicle. Know all the guys pretty well. They know their stuff better than any OReilly or NAPA store. Very helpful in getting whatever problem fixed, even if you just want advice. I highly recommend the drive there.

They know what theyre doing and are always helpful. Prompt with getting parts, too. I also like that they give their employees a day off on Sunday. Shop local!
