This store has most of the basics Ive needed, and Im continuously surprised by some of the supplies they have here. The embroidery floss selection includes about a third of the colors, mostly just the basics.. very few blending groups. Its great if you just need one color, but not if you need 3-4 of almost the same color for shading. The fabric supply is limited, but includes some faux mink and interesting fabrics. I was also impressed that they had hair barrette backs, etc. Prices about the same as a normal fabric store. My favorite part of this store has been the staff, they usually let you keep to yourself when you enter the store but are very helpful when you ask questions. I also really like that they dont ask me what Im making everytime, or try to guess as Im checking out.. for some reason that always bugged me in bigger fabric stores.

Ive grown up in fabric stores and have been sewing and crocheting my entire life. I was in Seattle attending a conference and wanted some new yarn to crochet with while I listened to presentations for 2 days. Stitches is a gem. The store is small which limits availability of products but what they offer suites most anyone needs in terms of colors, cotton, wool, weights, etc... While there I looked at their fabrics and had to buy some. They offer some very unique prints and organic options too. My granddaughter is Kentucky and niece in Michigan will be beautiful in these Stitches prints. Ill be back!

This is a great little store. Fewer choices in fabrics, but the ones they have are way cuter than most that you find in bigger stores. Basically, less selection but better quality as a whole. Has just about everything you need in terms of supplies. Plus their classes are really fun and informative. I only took one class, and then my next project was a sonic the hedgehog costume which turned out great! You wouldnt know it was my first project on my own. I have made several other items since then. That class helped me get over my fear of creating things.

Adorable little shop with friendly staff. Ive taken several classes and they have all been great. 4 stars because its a bit pricey, but I appreciate a local craft shop in an expensive area of the city.

My favorite fabric store in Seattle. Really unique fabrics that you cant find anywhere else. Also, they have great sewing classes. I made some pajama pants -- highly recommend.
