New Pronoia Bliss

It seems like Michaels always has some kind of deal going on (woohoo!). Im not a fan of the stores layout - it always seems cluttered and the cash wrap is counterintuitive. However, there has always been helpful staff to help navigate through the chaos. Im also not impressed with the selection of merchandise. There have been times that Ive looked for specific items only to be told that "we dont carry that here". However, I know that the chain carries them, but they just wasnt fulfilled at this particular store. My latest search has been for the MAMBI Happy Planner add-ons. Luckily, I was able to find them online and the discounts were abundant (yay!). Update 07.07.16 Buyer beware. The last couple of times Ive been here, there have been signs on the floor that havent been honored at the cash register. One time it happened I had to show the cashier. She went to one aisle and I another location. There are two places for the Happy Planner products (confusing). I showed her the discount sign and she honored the sign. This last time I didnt catch the discrepancy until I was out of the store. I still came out ahead so I wasnt going to squabble over the difference. Did you know that currently Michaels accepts competitors coupons? Ive never not known Hobby Lobby to offer a 40% off coupon. It works!!! Look online on your mobile device or print ahead of time. Ive done this a couple of times since Ive found out about this and Its works.

This is were I get the party decorations, they will typically have killer sales and you can get stuff for 50% off. Just got the 4th of July party decs on June 1st fitty off. When ever I go people in there look surprised to see a dude shopping, Im sure the people there think Im gay because there is only chicks there shopping and never any dudes, but I dont care. Oh, and this were I get my dogs toys for hella cheap. No sense in paying 8$ for a dog toy when you can get something your dog will love for like a dollar or 2, they dont care what it looks like. Yea for Michaels, Lol:) I

They have a good range of generic crafting equipment, and a few name brands (mostly designer brands, which I know nothing about) if you use coupons from their website and take advantage of sales, they can be on par with online prices. This particular location is either very over-shopped, or a little slow to restock shelves. I suggest calling ahead if you are in search of a specific article (particularly anything that is a crafting/art ingredient rather than a reusable long lasting tool)

I have shopped at this Michaels several times only to encounter their rude manager Courtney who has taken things out of my cart because I left my cart in an isle as I shopped then has disallow returns because she thought an item was sticky. She acts as though you are a thief or are trying to get away with something. Horrible shopping experience every-time I shop at this store.

I was on hold for 45 minutes for someone to go back and tell me if they have white fabric paint in stock. Every 5 min or so, someone would ask if I have been helped. Finally someone went back to check. In 45 min I could have driven there and back myself. I called so that I wouldnt spend that kind of time.

There are so many great crafts and fun stuff to buy at Michaels. You can wonder around the aisles and you will fill up your basket. Best part is there are always great discounts - up to 50% off. Dont forget to check out the many classes they offer right in their store.

An excellent source of crafting materials that always has the look that a mob of people ransacked the place and moved things around. Cant find the item youre looking for, it might have been picked up and moved by a customer who decided not to buy.

Most of the time checkout takes forever and items are not restock frequently. Staff can be hit or miss. Some are extremely helpful and friendly but some are just out right rude. Keep your receipt with the coupon for your next purchase.

They have a great selection of crafts at good prices, and wonderful art classes. However, they frequently have long lines, you rarely can find someone to help you and their parking lot is almost always an overcrowded nightmare.
