I love the set up of this store. My toddler and I had a blast looking at everything. If you are hoping to make a quick purchase, use the registers at the north end on the store. (There were two ready cashiers here.) The one in the clothing area is extremely slow. She looked like she was taking great care of the customer at the register, but more customers were lining up behind me. I walked to the back of the store and was out before the customer in front of me was helped.

This is literally the place where you go to buy amazing stuff. When I think of buying a gift to someone, city people Sandpoint true value is the first place that pops into my mind. They do have things that you wont find anywhere else. You will find tools that would make your life much easier. The staff are awesome and the store is just great:) Highly recommended!

Do not go to City Peoples if you are looking for a hardware store. Over half of the store is stocked with items nobody really needs and the remaining space is stocked with a poor selection of hardware items someone might actually need. A great place to waste your time.
