Im not sure who Sailorguy was talking to, but there are only three people that work there, and they are all siblings, and are third generation owners of the store. I think it was a bad day for Sailorguy. This place is the BEST EVER. If theres anything these people do, it is to CARE about the neighbors and the neighborhood. I have received multiple GREAT referrals off their goldmine bulletin board with business cards on it, have bought pretty much everything Ive needed there (unless they dont carry it, which is rare, and if they dont, they can order anything), and received TONS of advice, instruction and help (FREE OF CHARGE with no expectation of anything in return!!) with many household projects. Yes, the prices sometimes are a little higher, but its worth it to keep this family-owned gem in our neighborhood. As far as Im concerned, this place is just one of the best things EVER about my Lincoln neighborhood. These people are neighborhood supporters and have a such great thing going. GO to Lincoln Hardware today (oh, except they are always closed on Sundays) for great service! And remember, dont EVER be in a hurry. They treat each and every customer like gold, no matter how long you have to wait, its worth the wait, you will always go away feeling better about your day and about the friendliness of the world.

Ive been going to this hardware store for a couple years now and I do have to say they are the best places in the Tacoma. If they dont have it theyll tell you where to get it. They have helped me through so many projects. Unlike a certain Orange big box store. This store has a little bit of everything thing. Thanks Lincoln hardware for being there we appreciate you being there we love your guyss attitude!!!

The service I recieved at this place is unparalled to service I have recieved anywhere else in a long time. The gentlemen who assisted was not only friendly, but knew exactly what I needed and was able to give me some great tips. This place reminds me of how neighborhood hardware stores used to be and is definitely the place to go for hardware needs.

This place is the best little hardware store in Tacoma! I dont think I have ever stumped them with any home fix it my self job. You pay for the merchandise, but the step by step instruction, smiles and great stories are free.. You need to support this local independent hardware store. Thank you LHW!!!

very friendly super knowledgeable staff!!! I live around the corner and this family run hardware store has it all. You can get lamps fixed, drop off screens for repair and so much much more. And they always give my dog treats. Im glad I live so close. They have everything for my early 1900s home!!!

This is the small town family owned hardware store I remember as a kid. Not a huge store but it has everything you will ever need. I took a faucet stem in to them, they took one look and knew exactly the seats and seats I needed. Try getting that knowledge at Home Depot or Lowes.

Ive always had a 5 star experience when shopping at this store. The people there are very helpful and knowledgeable about their products and how to use them, unlike the big box stores. They have been in the same location for what seems like forever to me! Highly recommended!

I was just at Lincoln Hardware and when I asked a store employee a question it was as if he didnt care AT ALL. He told me they didnt even carry what I was looking for, then I went and found it myself. If you want hardware AND service, go to Lakewood Hardware or McClendons.

Lincoln Hardware is a true neighborhood hardware store. I sometimes make excuses to go here just because it is what all local businesses should be like. They even give my dog treats when we go in. SUPPORT REAL LOCAL BUSINESSES! This store is so awesome!

Much more helpful than your average hardware store. I can find stuff here that I cant find anywhere else. The people that work here have a lot of knowledge and if they dont have it they can almost always tell you where to go to find it.
