HORRIBLE!!! If you get the Geek Squad Protection Plan for your phone youre making a huge mistake! Let me explain, Ive bought 2 Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge phones from Best Buy for my wife and I, expensive as expected. Paid for the best one, 64gb with Gorilla 6 glass. Plus they talked me into their protection plan. 6 months after my purchase my phone developed a row of dead pixels down the face. Wasnt happy but thought since I had purchased the protection plan that Id get another phone like the one I purchased. That didnt happen, first it was an absolute nightmare getting the replacement phone to begin with, terrible customer service! Unless you dont mind wasting your time running in circles and being talked to like youre an idiot. Then I get my phone and its not a new phone, but a "refurbished" version. NO ONE ever mentioned that when selling me the plan! So to add insult to injury, the glass isnt even the upgrade Gorilla glass that my original phone was equipped with. Found that out when I dropped it inside my car on the center console and it shattered! Never have I ever had this problem until I got my used replacement phone. So now Im once again dealing with the Geek Squad and their condescending way of dealing with their customers. The girl at the counter interrupted me while explaining the situation 3 times! I got a manager involved and she gave me instructions to take home and you can probably guess what happened, Im still not able to even get through half the replacement service although I was told how simple they have made it. If there were negative amounts of stars, they would fall into those ranks. I feel totally abandoned as well as ripped off. Save yourself the trouble and find someone else to handle your so called protection plans. Like your cell phone carrier would be a good start. Thanks for nothing Geek Squad (again)

Beast Buy is a crap shoot. Many customer service employees either dont feel empowered or dont care and will start with NO or policy. Others will say sure and figure out how to help you, so who you get matters! I have been an Uber Geeks for breakfast since 1981 (vcrs and the first pcs) Since BBC opened they have always seemed helpful. At first they really seemed sincere but lately they just make stuff up and dont care if its true or not. For instance, I asked a computer guy If they carried a Bluetooth keyboard. He had worked there for a few months and quickly said "no, we dont have those" and walked away. I found one on the shelf they had carried for a year. Even some of the geek squad look for the quick easy answer"no, sorry" instead of the solution. Dont rely on their tech advice and educate yourself. Lastly their pricing is high even without commission but ( THEY WILL MATCH AMAZON FULFILLED PRICES ) . I still shop there when I want to pick something up and look at it or buy open box ($$-off) or if I want it today and they will price match. I now have three good Best Buy employees I will work with. They are great which is hard to find and to a while.

One of the worst overall customer service experiences I have had in a while. I was assisted by a Lenovo rep in choosing a laptop. The Best Buy employees repeatedly directed me to different departments in the store when I asked for basic information regarding product availability and the general requirements to obtain a Best Buy Visa card. I called several Best Buy locations while in the store as my time is valuable to me and I wasnt being helped very much. Instead I got transferred to a general call center. They declined to transfer me to other individual stores, and each person I talked to gave me different information regarding the price and availability of the Lenovo Yoga 17" laptop I desired. What made it baffling to me as a customer is I was polite, patient, and friendly the entire visit until I became frustrated at the end and walked out. Before this point I requested to speak with the Olympia manager several times and he avoided contact with me until I was visibly upset. I could go on but at this point what is the use. Next time I will just avoid the hassle and order online.

I am SO impressed by the customer service! I bought a surface 3 tablet on the Best Buy website and when it arrived I opened it up and turned it on... and it froze. I hard restarted it and got it going, did all the updates for it and then tried to use it for a day and it kept freezing and I had to hard restart it each time... I called the customer service line and the woman, whose name I regrettably do not remember, offered to exchange it no hassle. Then I threw her a curve. I needed this device for work and I didnt have the time to send it in and have another one come back so she looked up my nearest Best Buy, which was the one in the Olympia Westfield Mall. She called them and asked them to make the exchange same day! AND since I had left the Box at home and taken the tablet and power cable to work with me, they exchanged it without the box! This is the kind of customer service that has been lost in so many companies these days... I will shop more at Best Buy because I know I can trust them to treat me as a valued customer! THANK YOU BEST BUY!!

I spent over a $1000 at this Best Buy within the past six months. The customer service is terrible! There were three employees at the door. I walked in the door and none of them greeted me or asked if I needed help. When I walked through the store, the three idiots were laughing. I had a question about a product I had purchased. I went to the area where I bought the product and there was an employee texting. He told me to go to customer service where two people were helping one person return a product while I waited in line. Really? They need two people to help someone with a return? They sent me to the geek squad. I hate this Best Buy! The Lacey Best Buy is just as lousy. Hire decent people for heavens sake!

This is a great Best Buy store. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. I highly recommend them. Im a student and needed a laptop and they were able to help me select the right one. I was especially impressed by Julias help. I had just bought an expensive laptop and when I got home and had been setting it up, I experienced several glitches! I came back to the store and told Julia that my new laptop had been experiencing glitches and she made the process of exchanging it for the same type of laptop hassle free. I was impressed with how tactful she handled my situation. I now have a glitch free laptop that I absolutely love!!

They have horrible customer service They refuse to hold anything for any amount of time. They dont let you pre-order order steel book or at least the one by where I live wouldnt let me ... said its first come first serve. ..and there is only 2 copies. . I was thinking that couldnt be right..I show up as soon as they open and there was only 1 copy... best buys store policy are stupid. ...and thats me putting it nicely! ! Horrible THE ONLY REASON I SHOP AT BEST BUY IS FOR THE STEEL BOOK MOVIES. .. BECAUSE THEY SEEM TO HAVE THE MONOPOLY ON POPULAR MOVIES IN STEEL BOOK. . SO IM FORCED TO GIVE THEM MY BUSINESS. ..WHICH REALLY SUCKS! !!!
