I tried to buy a receiver/head unit in car electronics. On two occasions they took my phone number but never called me back. I called them but a national desk answered the phone, then dropped my call trying to transfer me to the Lacey store. The final time I went to the store I stood around for a while and finally went back up front asked to talk to a manager. The manager wasnt interested in my experience. He interrupted me, asked me to wait, and disappeared. Eventually another non-expert staff member showed up who had been sent in my general direction (but wasnt even sure who he was supposed to be helping). He kept having to run to co-workers to ask questions on how to help me. There werent even many customers in the store, but all the employees seemed too busy to help me except for the one newer guy (who did try hard, but was set up for failure). After a long time spent there they put together a quote and said, not very convincingly, "This should work.". I called Crutchfield and they told me that those items were not compatible with my rear view camera. I am not going back. Based on this experience, I expect Best Buy will go the way of Circuit City. Why would I go to a brick-and-mortar store THREE TIMES if theres not even any knowledgeable staff there who can help me?

Tried to return, on Sunday, a $180.00 Samsung phone I had bought that previous Wednesday after having it a GRAND TOTAL of 3+1/2 days, still in the box with receipt attached. They wanted (get this) a $35.00 restocking fee! There was nothing on the receipt or any of the paperwork that made reference to any returned items fee, nor was it brought up during the phone call I made prior to the 20 mile (one way) trip I made for that purpose. Had it been a reasonable amount, even though there was nothing said at the time of purchase, nor included in the paperwork, nor even a hint until I was at the CS counter, I still would have agreed to as much as $15.00. But seriously folks, is this what is known as GOOD PR? Well, public relations is a street upon which BIDIRECTIONAL TRAFFIC is not only permissible, its encouraged! Heres to as much your detriment, Worst Buy, as this escapade has been to mine. Ive spent a sizable amount of money in your store and was prepared to spend that much more... ..til today. Ill NEVER set foot in another one of your stores and I dont care if I couldve paid 1/2 of what Ill end up paying elsewhere. Ill GLADLY pay double the price just to avoid crossing the threshold of another one of your stores! Adiós and good riddance!

Profiling and distrust abounds. Im a college student riding the bus and this particular Best Buy sells Mr.Pib and the cotton candy I like so I decided to hop off and take a look, shop around you know college kid. Ive got some time to kill on a Friday afternoon . Literally the moment I walk in Im greeted and asked my purpose for walking in. Fair enough, thats what they pay greeters to do. After a minute or two I realize Im being followed. On a whim I go to reach in my backpack and sure enough the three or 4 employees all flinch. Its one thing to be wary. Quite another entirely to make someone feel like a thief for just walking around. In the time Ive typed this review Ive had 4 associates walk by and discreetly look at what Im doing. I work retail too guys. Youre about as obvious as the sun and if youre going to act like you want to stop and search me than do it. I came in here on a whim, and now Im annoyed beyond all belief. Bravo. Good job. Make that 6 employees now. Ive got a few more things that I want to window shop and than I might be gone for good. Ill let yall know know if I get stopped on the way out. They didnt search me, but the cashier Noel didnt even bother to ask me if I had one of their blue cards.

I want to thank Nikki and Jeff for their superior service at the Lacey, WA Geek Squad recently. They were both very prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and while helping me they were also very aware of other customers in line, and while I was waiting for something to be processed they were even able to begin helping the next customer in line. I have worked with both of these agents in the past and they are both great at what they do and have in many cases been able to solve my computer problems right there at the counter. What a relief. I have had Geek Squad protection on three of my computers for the past 4 years and it has been nothing but a blessing. I am so thankful that Best Buy created this service. It is Top Notch!

Awesome. Were new to Lacey and I went in with the intention to buy a super fancy and expensive tv antenna because the one I had wasnt picking up any channels. As I went to check out, the two cashiers up front asked me if I lived in Lacey and I said yes. They then told me that in Lacey, tv antennas will not pick up hardly any channels most of the time. The girl told me that they return about ten tv antennas each day. The guy then proceeded to tell me different options and ideas for getting tv channels without getting cable. Super helpful employees and they went above and beyond in my opinion. They saved me lots of time, effort and money. I will definitely be back to shop at this location.

Wish I could rate a zero. This is by far the worst Best Buy I have ever been to. They wouldnt put my screen protector on my tablet without making me sign a document that would make it so I couldnt have them fix it if they screwed it up or replace my device if they damaged it during installation, thats the whole point to paying to have them put it on. When I explained how ludicrous that is I was told too bad that what corporate wants. Funny I had it done at home instead, with no questions or attitude like I had at many other stores before. Piss poor customer service and terrible management not correcting this crap. The employees are not knowledgeable about their products.

I stopped here to get a headset for my phone. I wanted noise cancelling, ear buds with microphone for hands-free phone use all voice controlled. I had read about all of the units the had the features I wanted. So as I was looking at the top three possibilities and a sales associate stops and asks if I would like any help. I noticed the packages I was considering did not read exactly like the ads online. I asked the sales associate about the description discrepancy. I was told that you cant go by th online descriptions. The package description on the product in store is usually reliable. I left after being told there were no earbud headsets that would do what I wanted.

My elderly laptop developed an electrical problem, and I took it to the "geek squad" counter, where someone said that it was probably the mother board and I should buy a new computer. Went home and thought about it, then returned to have an unbacked file copied off before getting rid of the computer. This time, I was told that it was the power cord, and I should order a new one. I had tested the cord at home and knew that there was nothing wrong with the power cord. Next went to the 4th Dimension where they replaced the power tap (the thing the power cord plugs into) and said that this is something that commonly needs fixing in older laptops.
