I purchased furniture that was had faulty padding..little or no padding in the left arm and back of the love seat.I called and emailed with photos .I spoke to a woman that works at the customer service counter.She stated she checking to see if the service tech serviced the area in which I live.6 days later I went into the store was greeted by a salesman.He was VERY sarcastic condescending and rolled his eyes..yelled to the woman at the service counter.She never turned to face my husband and I..she kept her back to us ask what our email address was and then said she had not received an email about this problem..still never turned to face us.when i told her that I spoke to her..she said..oh..I will check into it..this has been another 4 days and still havent heard from anyone..DO NOT purchase ANYTHING from them. They will not stand behind their merchandise The owner has asked for an update..I did receive a all from a woman that said she would notify me that the service tech would be going to the JR furniture store located in my area so that Could bring my furniture in for repair......UDATE an additional week has gone by and I still have not been noticed as to when this would occur. UPDATE.....FYI .... OWNER! .....It is NOW... 2 ...TWO ...ADDITIONAL. WEEKS.. since I was told I would hear when to bring in my furniture and I have NOT heard anything and 2TWO ..TWO weeks since the owner commented so that he could seem concerned but obviously really isnt or something would have been done to correct this by this time. 3 additional weeks by the way..I did purchase the extended warranty..what a joke finally called after another week went by and spoke to the man that sold us the furniture.He said he would see what he could do..Monday morning the woman that was supposed to check on the tech.called and suggested I pay extra..ME in order to.get the tech to come to my home to fix my brand new furniture

We ordered 2 bar stools. Not a huge purchase, just over $200.00. We got the call that they were in, went back and picked them up, got home and started putting them together. They were not barstools, they were chairs. We called and the sales person/manager told us it would be another week, we asked if we could pick them up, she did say yes, in Chehalis. Needless to say, this did not work for us. So...I called and talked to the salesperson who helped us, Jeff. I asked if there was anything we could do to get them sooner or maybe delivered, so we wouldnt have to make yet another trip to the store. His answer was a very firm "no". Then he completed his explanation by stating there would not be a truck back for a week and they wouldnt deliver because we only spent $200.00. This was through no fault of ours....we picked out exactly what we wanted to have ordered. It was either put into the computer incorrectly or picked incorrectly at the warehouse. Again, not our fault. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!! This company really does act as if your business means nothing to them. Will never return to make another purchase.

I went into the store to find me a leather sectional couch. When I found the one I wanted I asked the saleswoman to give me the total price because I was paying cash. I thought usually when you pay with cash theres some sort of discount. But that wasnt the issue. She calculated everything including the 5 year warranty. I went to my bank to get the cashiers check. She must thought I was bluffing about the couch. I gave her the check and all the sudden the price started going up. About the third time, I asked for my check back. As I was leaving, another saleswoman came and worked some numbers until it was the price on the check. I wasnt about to play their game. The day my furniture was delivered, they were very late outside their 4 hour window. Then still charged me the full amount for delivery. I do not want to do business with them again.

My husband and I bought what appeared to be an extremely classy abd beautiful and expensive coffee table and 2 end tables. We both found out it was the extreme opposite! The furniture isnt real wood. Not any kind of wood period. A brown spray stain was sprayed on it to make the furniture appear to be stained wood. The wood look wipes off and shows white material underneath. We paid hundreds of dollars for absolutely nothing. We had to buy a dark wood colored furniture magic marker. We have been covering up spots ever since where the wood look wipes off. NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE THE BIGGEST RIP OFF COMPANY THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY ENTIRE LIFETIME!!!!!!!!

Hard to say they arent a good store, because they do have some pretty good stuff, and I would give them 4 stars except for the fact that they try to deceive customers by putting a sale price on everything showing items marked down from a false price. And those sales never end so if something is always on sale its not a sale is it? And then I realized a couch I was looking at was listed at 11 99, and said it was marked down from 1399 and the next week it was still 1199 and said it was marked down from 1899. I call that outright lying . Unfortunately there sale staff is all good and its not their fault this happened

Purchased coffee table and 2 end tables they werent in stock so had to wait a couple of days to get we paid over $800.00 for these 3 items when we were called and told they were in we went to pick items up they were in boxes and not put together we were never told if you dont have delivered you have to put together yourself, delivery is 69.00 more. I have never purchased items for this amount of money and had to put together myself. Will never buy anything from them again, and again we were never to they wouldnt be put together already.

Weve bought a couple of recliner love-seats and coffee table from JR Furniture and found the employees to be helpful but not pushy. We looked at several places but found what we wanted at a good price-point at JR. Purchasing was easy and all the insurance and other options were explained clearly. Delivery was easy and about the same cost as renting a truck to move the furniture ourselves. They delivery people also disassembled the love-seats so they would fit down a narrow staircase into our basement. Wed definitely shop there again!

As soon as we walked in, my daughter said it was stinking and smelled like smoke. Sadly to say, it was obviously because we were walking behind the salesman who reeked of cheap cologne and cigarettes. While we were looking at the furniture, my husband attempted to take a picture of the furniture and the salesman snapped at him and snatched the pricing list away so that he couldnt get a picture. My husband yelled for us to leave and we immediately left. We will never return to JRs Furniture store again!!!

Absolutely no refunds. Dont sign anything until you are sure they have what you are buying. Better yet dont buy anything. The staff was a nightmare. Was told my coach was ready for pick up. So I rented a truck and went to get it. I arrived at the store to be told it wasnt there. Called the manager of the next day and she did nothing but put the blame on a new employee. What a boss. If she did her job and teach the employees on how to their jobs they wouldnt have this issue.
