Pretty unwelcoming, true we come with children attached, upon arriving at the store we see a sign in the window directing parents to keep children in hand, we stop and talk to our 3 young children about our expectations of not touching and keeping shoes off of the furniture. Three minutes into the store a man comes along and lets us know that our childrens feet need to be kept on the ground, they were with us trying out the comfort of some of the sofas, seeing as they are not yet five feet tall their feet dangle when sitting. We remind our kids of the new expectation and move along feeling like we just committed a terrible taboo by allowing our kids to sit down on a couch. Towards the back of the store we get hit by a strong urine smell coming off the precious furniture, and shortly after left the store. We proceeded to go to a furniture store down the road, selling new furniture where we were welcomed to the store the associate happily allowed our kids to spread out on the $3000 plus couches and was extremely helpful and amiable. So guess where we are buying our furniture for our new home from?

If you are looking for "near new" pieces to furnish your home, check out the gently used items at Upscale Consignment. It is easy to walk around and quickly find the type of thing you are looking for. Prices are quite affordable, and if something is slightly out of your budget, you can wait 30 days for a reduction. While they dont deliver, they can put you in touch with a reasonably priced delivery service that does a good job. The selection is good, and the "online shopping" is awesome. It saves you a trip to Gladstone until you see things you like and would like to check out. This makes it so worthwhile to visit, because you are already almost assured of finding just what you want. Staff is quite helpful if you have questions.

WOW ! I could NOT be any happier ! Badly in need of a new sofa, and dreading shopping for one, having an IKEA budget, but wanting something higher in quality....I saw the Upscale Consignment sign, while driving on 205, turned around and went to have a look. I was there about 15 minutes. Found the PERFECT sofa. Dark cream color, modern straight lines, heavy quality fabric, (I have 6 grand kids). CLEAN! I called the next morning and bought over the phone... The delivery guys were early, friendly, nice !! Professional. Very fair on delivery fee. I need a side chair, I will be shopping again soon !!!

We bought a beautiful dining room table with 6 chairs, which included a pad to cover the table when in use, for a fraction of what it would have cost brand new. We also bought a very nice lighted curio cabinet. We liked that there was no pressure to buy, we could shop online, and delivery for a reasonable fee was made the next day with the curio cabinet. We recieved help in loading up the chairs and table when it was convenient for us. I wish this store would have been available in Pennsylvania when we had to clear out my mothers house.

We recently purchased a corner desk and a leather loveseat. I had been looking all over for a corner desk and was excited to see that Upscale Consignment had exactly the size that we wanted. I enjoy looking at Upscales online inventory to see the new items that are added daily. We love going to Upscale Consignment because there is no high pressure sales and that you can go look at your own leisure without being bothered by a salesman. When in need of a piece of furniture, we always check at Upscale Consignment first!

My wife and I have been here several times to get really nice pieces for our home and our offices without spending a fortune. We like high quality items that we know are going to last - we just dont want to pay full retail for them when Upscale Consignment gets us $1,000s worth for $100s. Now we have a showplace home and we didnt pay outrageous money for it. Check back often - otherwise, we will continue to get all the great deals! Oops, probably shouldnt have said that.

We were moving out of the country and consigned 4 high-end pieces. Couldnt be more pleased with the service. All 4 pieces sold and even when we lost one of the checks in our move, the owner was kind enough to replace it with no other penalty than the stop payment fee from his bank. The website is amazing, and a wonderful tool for both buyers and sellers. Far exceeds any other consignment shop in town.

Are you kidding me?? This place is a joke.. Trashy furniture and way over priced. Just and example..An Ikea lamp that you can buy at Ikea NEW for $20, is $60 at this place..And you can even go in with an ad you saw and they will tell you thats wrong and even yell at you..Most unprofessional people Ive ever seen.. Skip this place and to somewhere they have nice things..

The web site is supurb, allowing one to browse from home, and check on price/availability, so you dont waste gas if they dont have what you want. And visiting the showroom is great, no pressure & there is usually a good variety. I purchased a chair recently & have my eyes on a couch. Its a safer bet than craigslist, everything is in good condition.

I have been here many times to look for furniture when we needed new pieces in our home but the last time I was there I found they had consignment jewelry and I found a beautiful inlaid opal ring! The price was amazing and it appraised for three times what I paid for it. Highly recommend them!

I love this place, it has something for everyone and good condition too, love how prices drop after so many days and see that right on the tag. Great idea! I love my lamp, not finished remodeling yet, as can see in photo, so not sure where it will go but we are enjoying it very much.

I love walking in here and seeing what they have! Huge shop with tons of items... so fun! I just purchased a bed frame here and love it... the only down side is their third party delivery guy. It was cheaper for me to rent a uhaul than have him locally deliver a frame.
