Do not go to any Mor Furniture store. This experience is similar to co workers that I have. We went there and saw plenty of living room sets. Nice stuff. When we went to place an order for a set that the wife loved. We were told it was going to be 12 weeks for us to get it. This was back in September of this year. That was going to cut it close to Thanksgiving which we wanted it before then. So we went around and looked for other items. She found a second set. So we went to place the order and they said 8 weeks. They promised a delivery date of 11/04/2014. The date came around and nothing. So we called them up and they apologized and said it was in a shipping container coming from Italy. It should be here by the 17th of November. They said that was the new ship date. We were cutting it close and the wife was starting to get frustrated. We were going to cancel the order and they said not too. They promised that they were going to deliver to Washington and give us a 100.00 in store credit. Thanks, even though you cant buy anything for 100 dollars. The 17th came around and no furniture. They called us and said the new ship date was going to be the 19th. Furniture finally comes in the door along with a bed we had also purchased during the wait. I know we should not have. The couches came in and they flipped them over to put the footings in. The lining underneath was ripped on the love seat and the sofa. The guys had taken them out of the with the liners and so it was not there fault. They looked like they had been working hard. So when they started to put the footings the wooden dowels did not line up with the footings. The footings were not flush with the frame of the couch. The footings were facing all sorts of odd directions on all three pieces. I called the company up and they said not to accept the product. I was pissed and am still pissed. They told me they would deliver the three pieces today and they did not. They called last minute to cancel and now they said they would deliver on Sunday the 23rd of November. The only item that was not broken was the ottoman. That was the only thing they left of the living room. I told the delivery man that they had to take it back. The man looked like he wanted to cry. He told me he could not get them back in. They finally did. He showed me the back of his truck and said. "I started the day with 9 deliveries and I still have 9 deliveries, everyone of the customers have rejected the orders." Seriously Mor. How are you still in business. People dont shop here ever again. Dont support a company that has horrible customer service and keeps making promises they cant keep. I hope that we get our furniture by Thanksgiving. We have no other options at this point. But one thing I know is we will never shop here again. I hope that when my furniture comes in they do not put any extra holes to make the footings fit.

Would highly recommend avoiding any Mor location if you are looking to purchase a couch. Overall the Sales staff was very friendly and I was excited about my couch purchase… my main complaints stem from poor Retail Management in the form of 1) the execution and failure to deliver the couch it in any sort of timely manner, 2) the several incorrectly communicated ETAs, and 3) the complete absence of communication when the order was cancelled (not to mention I’m still waiting on the refund). Details below— 1) I LOVED this couch, hence why it has taken me two months to cancel the order. But that’s the issue… it was going to take 2+ MONTHS from the day I placed the order for it to arrive at my door. 2) Now, this wouldnt have been a huge issue if I had been told in the beginning it would have taken two months, however, I was told it would deliver in 10 days or “possibly sooner.” Great, not a problem. I just wouldn’t have sold my other couch so quickly in anticipation of receiving a new couch. Timeline of events as followed-- a. 11/19 – purchase couch and expect delivery on 11/29 (yay) and sell old couch b. 11/27 – receive call letting me know it will be delayed until 12/12 (ugh, fine) c. 12/11 – receive call letting me know it will be delayed until 12/18 (um, not okay). Do receive $130 in store credit (sort of better, encourages me to hold on) d. 12/18 – call CS and learn it has actually been delayed until 1/15 (I think I’m hitting my breaking point). Dont cancel due to holidays e. 1/11 – receive call letting me know it will be delayed until 1/23 (at this point, I may never get it, furious, time to cancel) 3) So I email the store on 1/11 (since I received the call late in the day) letting them know I would like a full refund and would like to cancel. I don’t hear a single thing from either the store or CS. It wasn’t until I called today (1/17) did I learn that my transaction was cancelled and I should be receiving a full refund. I DIDN’T EVEN KNOW MY ORDER HAD OFFICIALLY BEEN CANCELLED. Poor execution. Poor communication. Still waiting on my refund. Will not even use $130 voucher because this has been a nightmare.

My wife and I were shopping for new lamps and were in the area so, we stopped in at Mor. We were greeted by the employees and asked if anyone had helped us and our reply was, we are just looking. They were all very friendly and said to please ask if we had any questions and then left us to look. We walked around for a bit looking and then were approached by Justin, he also asked if he could help and we answered with, we are just looking. He also said to please ask if we had any questions. My wife and I DO NOT like high pressure sales people nor the ones that hover over you!!! We experienced neither from the sales people working that day. We had been kind of thinking about a new bed but werent really ready to buy one yet. We did take our time and look at beds also. Justin would check in on us from time to time but, in no way pressured us.We found some lamps that we wanted to purchase and he was there to help with that. Small purchase but, treated us like it was a major purchase. We were very impressed!!! With that we asked about a few of the beds and told him again, we were just looking and had no intension of buying a bed today. He said no problem show me which ones and I will answer any questions you have. The long and short of it is, we liked the way that we were treated so, we bought a bed, mattress and the lamps from Justin. Now, we got the lamps home and find after a few days they really werent what we wanted. I called and Justin was on vacation. I spoke to Jason. Jason was also very profession. I told him that we werent really happy with the lamps and we would like to bring them back. He didnt even hesitate and told me to just bring them back and ask for him. He said he was sorry that we werent happy and was there any thing else they could do for us (NO QUESTIONS ASKED, HE JUST TOOK CARE OF IT!!!). I asked if he would just give us a credit as we would like to purchase some other things from them. He did so again without hesitation. We will be making ALL our home furnishing purchases from this point on at Mor and recommend them to anyone we can. Thank you for the positive experience Justin and Jason.
