Hey we are protesting the target in Silverdale because of the following story... Please come out and take up a parking space or 3 to show your support for this Family!!! PLEASE PASS THE WORD!!! Target, I am stationed in Washington State and shop often at the Target Store on Silverdale Way in Silverdale, WA as do most of my Brothers and sisters in arms. On May 30, 2012 my husband, MA2 (EXW) Sean E. Brazas was Killed in Action while serving in Afghanistan. Today, we hung a Gold Star Banner in his honor on the street light on the corner of your store. We called weeks ahead of time to let the store manager know that we would be having this ceremony. The street light is on city property so we were just doing it as a courtesy call to let the store know there would be a lot of traffic on the corner infront of the store. We also informed the manager that the parking lot may have additional cars parked in it due to the ceremony. The ceremony was from 1030 am to 1100 am. The manager told us we were absolutely NOT aloud to use there parking lot for any part of our ceremony, to include parking our vehicles. We politely reminded her he was KILLED IN ACTION protecting our freedoms. She once again denied the request and told us it was "Target Policy". We went ahead and used the parking lot to park our cars anyway. We had several mayors, county commissioners, and service members in attendance along with myself, Seans wife. We utilized the very very BACK of the parking lot to park our cars then gathered near the street corner. While people were pulling up and gathering 2 target employees approached me and asked me what was going on. I explained to them that we were having a public ceremony on the street corner for my husband and we were simply parking our cars and gathering on city property. The gentleman told me this required written permission. I explained that I had asked for permission and was denied.. But this was city property where we were gathering and as far as parking was concerned I did not see any "No Trespassing" signs. I also explained it was 1030 in the morning and there were tons of open parking spaces available for customers. They continued to give me a lecture about how we could not utilize the parking lot. By this time the sheriff had arrived to attend the ceremony and said hed take Care of it and said we were in no way violating any laws. Thankfully, the rest of the ceremony went flawlessly, no thanks to Target. I was VERY disappointed in the way things were handled. Its unfortunate that your company is not more supportive of the military, especially of those who paid the ultimate sacrifice. I hope someone somewhere reads this and fixes this so called "policy" you guys have in place. Its truly Unacceptable Thank you for your time Very Respectfully, Allie Brazas

Im new to town, having lived in 3 states prior to moving to WA and I am a Target card holder since 2001. I usually shop at Target for everything. The employees that work in the pharmacy, electronics and customer service departments are great! The women that work in the dressing room area must have residual anger from their small paychecks. Maybe folding clothes and organizing makes them depressed. Target clothes ARE ON THE EXPENSIVE SIDE, so if they want people to buy them then maybe they should be more polite. This is NOT the area of the store to skimp on customer service. Some ladies who work the area are incredibly polite and always smiling, but youll know them when you see them. There is one lady in the fitting room area that is accusatory and discriminatory! She shouldnt have a job that requires human interaction b/c she hasnt mastered that yet. She makes the shopping experience bad for some of us. The positive customer service comments will never invalidate the poor treatment that some of us have experienced. Ive already followed up with both Management and Corporate to make them aware of these matters. Maybe the manager at this location should be retrained in other, more successful, and cleaner locations around the country.

Worst experience, I was going to buy a bathing suit from them so I wanted to try them on. My husband was with me at the time and was going to go in the dressing room to help me choose which one I should get. The lady at the fitting room desk told me he couldnt go in. I asked why? She said a man cant go in the womens fitting room I said then if he is aloud in the bathroom whats the difference with the fitting room? I then said well the I will identify as a man so I can try them on in the mens room. She said no, then proceeded to say would you like to talk to a manger.

This store has by far provided me with the worst shopping experience so far.. First thing I notice is that there isnt anybody in a department to help anybody, as the hunt continues when you find somebody they arent that helpful and theyre clueless as to anything you ask them... Then due to theyre own errors they miss label prices and then with the tag that you saw in hand, they point at a different tag and tell you your wrong.... I will never shop at this target again... PERIOD!

First of all I am handicapped they put their shopping carts in the way of the motorized scooters and hard to get to best looking for some clothes went back to the mens department so they call it very little to choose from especially for a man of my size also they had the aisle setup that I was constantly knocking into the racks you could not turn without backing up and working away around them the staff just looked at me and didnt even ask to help

I will give this location a 4/5 because I love the selection and the layout of the store is easy to navigate. I would however like to see the fitting rooms get fixed. Half of them dont have locks on the doors! I also think that target in general should offer site to store shipping free like walmart does, I can find quite a few more shoes for my toddler daughter online than in store. Overall target is a staple when it comes to general shopping.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I went in today to go buy a camera.. instantly security started following me and 1-2 other employees. While I was leaving they wrote down my information and my license plate.. all I was trying to do was buy a camera for gods sake. I would advise no one to shop at this location

I like this store, but customer service is weak. You either get someone great who goes above and beyond or someone who doesnt want to be there and pretends to help you. Like telling you about an item they may or may not actually be discontinuing.

I wont shop at a store run by a CEO that spent $150,000 of the companys money to fund anti-gay politics. This is not the hip, customer friendly store I used to shop at. You just have to draw the line somewhere. Costco is my next stop.

Target is great. The store offers a wide variety of goods. There are usually lines at checkout but they go by relatively quick. They offer a discount if you use their credit card. Very clean store. Parking is right in front.
