Grocery outlet is a great place to buy certain things. You might be surprised by the selection. The prices are good, and every not and then, youll find random items youve never seen before because they are not carried by the main grocery stores. Most of the time, this store is cleaner than the Safeway nearby. They have a big selection of beer and wine. Another thing to check for is organic meat and other organic products, which have MUCH better prices here than a place like Whole Foods. Make sure you read the expiration dates and have a plan on consuming what you purchase here. The staff is great and theyve always had good customer service in my experiences with them. I would recommend checking them out.

The reason the food is in there is because some other store didnt want it. So yes, some of the product is close to, or even just past, its listed Pull Date. Or maybe that version didnt sell well, or maybe the merchandizing folks wanted to change a display. So shop with care, but if you do, you will be rewarded with some fairly amazing deals with perfectly okay stuff priced 30% to 80% off the list price. It might not be there when you come back though so grab it now. As the Rolling Stones sang a long long time ago: "You cant always get what you want, but you can try sometimes and get what you need" (and at a really good price. )

Big fan. People complain about the inconsistency of items they carry, but it helps people like me break out of the norm and try different things and at a reasonable price and usually its high quality and organic and vegan all that trendy stuff. I discovered Grocery Outlet while dating a young lady who ate hardcore vegan organic and cost me a fortune. Went to Grocery Outlet and found the same stuff and sometimes better for a fraction of the cost. Bargain Market!

If you shop here, double check everything you buy from here. I bought a Red Barron 3-pack of pizza and there was only 2 in there, when I got home. I also bought their cheese slices and noticed they were molding when I got home. Not worth going back for, waste of time and money. In the long run youre better off not trying to "Save money" because youll end up wasting more money going here with all their screw ups.

I feel like this chain is hit or miss--some products are a good deal, others are not. Pricing overall was surprisingly comparable to a regular supermarkets. It is a bit smaller and more intimate, but has every department that one needs to successfully complete their grocery shopping task!

No frills discount grocery market that carries about 90% if what we come in there for. Wouldnt depend on them for the freshest produce but in a pinch when we need something we usually come here and are able to get it. The staff have been friendly anytime weve come in.

They dont have everything all the time, but they consistently have good prices on cheese and wine. Thats most of my diet anyway, so I shop there quite a bit.

Okay prices, the saving arent "that great" for "dated" produce. Thats not to say that the saving wont add up, even if youre saving about a dollar per item.
