Not As Nice As The Edmonds Location Ranch 99 is sort of like an all-Asian QFC. Its a great store to find just about any ingredient youd ever need, and the prices arent competently unreasonable (though, I wouldnt call it cheap). That said, this is the worst Ranch 99 market Ive ever been to. Absolutely filthy. They have a pretty sad selection of SE Asian products, unfortunately. So if youre looking specifically for Thai, Singaporean, or Malaysian products, you wont find a ton (a few decent spices, curries, and frozen products, really). This location mostly caters to Chinese and Korean products. Word of warning: Ive found lots of moldy refrigerated items here and the produce is extremely sad and wilted. They do have a decent looking BBQ stand for Char Siu and Crispy Pork Belly; its the same price as Kau Kau, in Chinatown, but Im not sure if its as good (its hard to take a leap when Kau Kau is so good). The seafood selection is not as nice as Uwajimaya; theres a huge language barrier if youre not Chinese, sometimes. That said, weve gotten good shrimp at a reasonable price. Filipinos should stick to Seafood City. Its much nicer, cleaner, and cheaper. If youre looking for more SE Asian products, try Uwajimaya or some of the Vietnamese stores in Seattle (Viet Wah or Hung Long). If you can make the drive, definitely go to Asian Food Center, instead. That place is a dream come true compared to this hellscape.

The cleanliness level is not the highest and on the weekend its packed in the store and out in the parking lot. Lots of really long check out lines. But there are things here you cant get anywhere else for reasonable prices (its not cheap. Its "reasonable", like if you were looking for baby anchovies for a Japanese dish youd say, "Well...its not super expensive and Im willing to pay that.") However their fish has a super high turnover and is so fresh it doesnt smell and the eyes are glossy. Its also reasonably priced. The bakery is solid, and has very good buns. They tend to run out though if you go anytime after 2pm. The rice noodle sheets are fresh on the weekends, and there is almost the complete line of Lee Kum Kee sauces. Just make sure to check your expiration dates. However, the duck guy is amazing and the duck here is good. So is the roast pork and char siu. However, I have noticed a lot of people arent clear when they talk to the guy cutting things and English is not his first language. Simple words and a smile go a long way. Him and the woman working the deli register always smile back.

This place is a dump. It is dirty, has poor quality vegetables, and on the expensive side. A lot of people come here for the convenience but there are better Asian stores then this one. If you ask for help from staff, they will ignore you or try to push you off to another staff member. If you want quality and good prices, I would go to Viet Wah or H-Mart. If you want convenience of picking up groceries and getting a quick bite to eat at the various restaurants in Great Wall or within 99 Ranch hot food area, come here. Parking can be pretty bad here on the weekend and you might get some door dings. Update 3/5/16 - I wrote my original review 4 years ago. Im not changing my review because this place is still a dump. Its still dark, the restrooms are in dilapidated state, difficult to check out with merchandise blocking the checkstand, the employee who cuts your duck/chicken in the hot deli is mean as heck, and people put their dirty fingers on the fish. Parking is really bad. Im not too sure why they dont pave the west end of the lot next East Valley Hwy.

I was waiting in line at the register and I noticed the other register was about to open up. So i back up to wait for that register to open. And the lady that was there fixing her cash register. She point at the sign that said , This line closed. And i said hey i can read you dont have to point it to me. So i stood their. Not even a minute later she opened that line. So she moved over to the other register. People are rude. Jusy saying

Parking is a nightmare. Market isnt as big as the Edmonds location, so space for shoppers are limited. Store is not kept up compared to the Edmonds location. Staff dont seem upbeat even in the smallest way. I only come to this location because its closest to where I am usually visiting. If traffic wasnt so grid lock... I would make the effort to go to Edmonds instead.

停车很方便,里边的选择也很多,熟食,茶点,餐馆,超市都具齐啊!超市里还有烤鸭,烤猪,叉烧等等,品质至少可以打八分。

Great Asian mall to shop at. Customer service is decent and well worth it. The grocery store needs to find a way to mask the fish odder. That is not what you should smell upon entering the mall. Good thing I understand/speak elementary school Japanese or youd be communicating with mostly hand signals.

It has almost everything that I need for cooking up a super authentic South East Asian meal. .. I will have to get used to some unfamiliar brands of sauces, instant noodles etc. but the available selection will do well enough, the seafood and meats are really fresh, and the price is right.

Got most of my seafood there, they are usually very fresh. However, we purchased a bag of oyster last week. After we got home, cracked the shell open, found out they all (my husband did open all 20 oysters) went bad. I will still shop there but not for oysters.

Usually have to worry about locking your doors and maybe that might not be good enough. Inside the prices are very reasonable but the customer service is not a high point. They have good fish fresh and frozen and they prepared many different ways for you.

You like Asian food? You have to buy your ingredients here if you want the real stiffy. Hey you need fish sauce, fish head, seaweed and noodles, now you wont be correlated with failed Asian cuisine statistics. Grey dust? Diary with soy? Come get it all.

Has the Asian food that I want. Prices are not bad for meet and seafood. if you are looking for non-Asian Veggies, fruits, snacks, and canned food, they are cheaper at other local supermarkets. I like to go there to get fishes, pretty fresh.

Prices are pretty good and a good selection of Asian products and produce. The place isnt the cleanest or smells the best but it is an Asian market. If youve ever been to Asia this place would be considered very nice.

We love coming to this market. Everything is here from cooked duck to live fish or seaweed for making sushi rolls. My kids love seeing the live fish and I really enjoy the market feel. Always get my favorite kim chee.

The market was great, but there is a part of the mall where there is a asian herb store. Unfortunately the girl there had a major attitude in response to a simple question. Will be avoiding that potion of the market.
