Good morning, I wanted to take the time to share with you a very distressing situation that happened at your store located at 4128 Rucker Avenue, Everett, WA. Recently, I purchased three packages of boneless skinless chicken thighs. I brought them home and put them in my refrigerator and then two days pulled them out to repackage them for freezing. When I cut open the packages, a horrible odor was present, as the meat had spoiled. I checked the use by date and it was the same day I was packaging them so they should have still been fine but clearly was not. My wife took them back to the store to exchange them. She went to the front counter and explained to the customer service manager Amy what had happened. Amy told my wife that she was lying and that there was nothing she could do. My wife then went and got the date of our transaction from our bank and tried again. Still they said their was nothing they could do. Finally she produced the debit card that was used for the transaction, our club card, and the date of transaction and still they said their was nothing they could do. At this point my wife asked to speak with the general manager as she was tired of being insulted and called a liar and Amy refused to even go and speak with the general manager let alone produce him. At this point my wife walked out in tears. A manager at your store named Amy insulted my wife, called her a liar, and accused us of being thieves. As far as I am concerned, this is an unacceptable lapse in judgment and customer service. Living on a budget, I cannot afford to buy spoiled meat and that is what your company sold me and then refused to fix the situation. I will not be spending my money at your store from this point forward and you have lost a life long customer. Rest assured that I will be telling this story to everyone one I know. Mike Lewis

The "cart boy" in the parking lot is a rude a$$ jerk, I left my handicap cart outside my car door after getting in & before my son was able to walk around to my side of the car to ride it back into the store this douche came over completely rude as hell to me & says, "You just gonna leave that there? I said, Nope my son is taking back in about 2 seconds you rude ass prick!!!" He said, "Yeah right" & stormed off! I was livid & shoulda knocked his punk a$$ out with my cane. LOL! I was going to just leave the cart out there @ that point (just so that idiot would have to take it in) but I knew there was other handicapped people that may need it, so being an inconvenience" to him was only going to really inconvenience someone who may need it right away. Still SMDH!

So I went to visit family and went to this store which was nice, good break from the road, aside from this girl in the bakery who smelled so bad it made me not want to buy anything from there. I did manage to get her first name from her tag, Brook.. Im not sure if it was just a bad day or the fact that I was pregnant and had the nose of a hound dog, but holy hell it was bad. Good news about that is that I suddenly became self conscious after being able to smell her pits and bad breath so I bought deodorant, gum, and body spray... So I guess shed be great for sales, but not for bakery...

"Customer assistance needed in premium liquor, Customer assistance needed in premium liquor, Customer assistance needed in premium liquor, Customer assistance needed in premium liquor, Customer assistance needed in premium liquor, Customer assistance needed in premium liquor, Customer assistance needed in premium liquor, Customer assistance needed in premium liquor, Customer assistance needed in premium liquor." That is all you here when you come in to this store. The lines are usually really long, too. I go here because they have an Amazon locker and BECU ATM.

Well dont get me wrong this is the closest grocery store to me so I continue to shop there. Staff is totally fine and nice, store is rather clean and organized. The problem with this store is I have seen car prowlers on several occasions and last year while picking out pumpkins in front of the store with my family a woman charged at my mother and I and attempted to snatch my purse off my shoulder. The store itself is fine but definitely keep your wits about you.

Come on its expensive and they got that thing going on such as... 4 for $5 and then you have to buy all 4, if you buy just one they charge you like three bucks & the cashier will never tell you. I mean come on its rude & Im so tired of it. Now they got monopoly going no, come on, its a childs game. I dont want to play Monopoly. Drop the games Safeway. QFC is better and cheaper, and yur no QFC.

A solid grocer. This a busy, urban location. Be sure to lock your car. The pharmacy is pretty good here, though not without its annoyances. Most of the checkers are friendly and fast, although there are one or two whose lines I avoid due to a nasty demeanor. Like, Im sorry if my order is too large for you.. but this is a grocery store and Im shopping for a family of 5 for the month!

The bagger was so concerned with trying to have a conversation with me rather than bag my groceries, he didnt put my bananas in my cart. So I paid for a great bunch of bananas that were left at the store. It was very distracting also as I was trying to pay attention to what was being rung up as well as talk to the cashier. Bummer experience today and I shop here all the time.

The store is well maintained and always stocked. The staff is friendly and helpful. There are tables inside where you can sit down and take a break or have a bit. Plus they have a Starbucks and a gas station. Its location is right on all bus llines with stops right in front of the store and across the street.

This Safeway is much better then some of the other ones I have used in the past where the bakery is never stocked. The bakery and the deli are always stocked and neat and plenty of merchandise as well as the rest of the store other locations of late have not this will be my regular store most of the time.
