Manager chased my wife and daughters out of the store; I have no idea how many times weve been in that store or how much money weve spent, but on on December 20th my wife and daughter were shopping there and had waited in a very long line with only 3 checkers working. They were the second in line. Then the store manager calls the next person in line...the older lady in front of my wife tells her companion that shell wait for the closest checker, and after waiting a few moments my wife walked over. My wife was tersely informed that she had asked for the NEXT person in line. She refused to serve my wife and daughter and told them to get to the back of the line. So they put the items down and walked out; this seemed to enrage the manager and she followed my wife and daughter out snapping pictures like they had done something wrong. We attempted to return on Dec 29th and she chased us out of the store making my wife feel physically unsafe. Do not shop here! Would give zero stars if it were possible. I have called their corporate office twice and have been ignored.

Coming from Spokane, where there are a couple leather shops, I hoped to buy some materials for my current projects. After going to five other craft stores, I found that Michaels holds the only acceptable selection of leather-working equipment that Ive encountered in the Tri-Cities thus far(its worth noting that I havent yet been to D & Ls Leather Crafts & Boots), and finding the hardware I needed and getting out of there was simple and fast. However I noticed some fairly outrageous pricing in the section I was in, which seemed somewhere along the lines of more than 300% up-charge. Incredibly thin, limited-use scraps and pieces which would be sold for no more than a dollar apiece at a leather shop were being sold for $6.99 or more. This didnt affect what I bought, but was pretty ridiculous to see. (dont buy leather here, order it online if you have to.) Customer Service was fast at the aisle, but nonexistent throughout the rest of the store.

Tonight, I went to Michaels in search of matt board. I usually go to Hobby Lobby since they sell the same boards for much cheaper and let me use a coupon. But tonight Michaels would not honor a price match nor let me use a coupon. Most of the matt boards that Michaels has are bent or dinged up and they offered no discounts. Im a local artist and I do purchase materials like paint, drawing pads, and brushes at Michaels when they are on sale. As an artist I need to stretch a buck, but tonight there was no effort to win my business. I really did need the material but I will have to wait and go to Hobby Lobby down the road. I am a business owner and I know how important it is to win a customer over and Michaels just doesnt seem to care. Poor business practices and bad customer service. Its a shame.

I go Michael or I may call for something and the workers dont want to work. I call and ask for art supplies and oh yea nope we dont have it is the exact words. I wish the management and workers would change to people that want to work. Raie Kept me on the phone for over 5 minutes looking for stencil paper. When she came to the phone nope they didnt have what I needed. When I asked for the Manager and what her name was Raie she wouldnt give me this info she asked me for what reason did I want this info. that is fine you lost me as a customer Craft store is where I must go and I always have the internet. Thank you for not doing your jobs as usual .

I was very impressed with this store. I was greeted upon entering. They had the yarn I was looking for, I had searched Joanns and Hobby Lobby, they didnt have it. I should have just come here first. I didnt get the girls name but she was so sweet in helping me. I will most certainly be back.

Got a quote for framing an art gallery piece, and the price was the same as the art gallery in California. And the estimate shows they were saving me money. I went to Craft Warehouse and the estimate for identical work was less than half.

I can usually find whatever I need here! Definitely recommend joining their email club list for coupons if youre a constant crafter. Ive never had an unfriendly experience.
