One of my favorite Half Price Books locations! I would visit it almost weekly when I lived nearby. They have an ever-rotating selection of great books on the shelves, and I always want to leave with several dozen (though I limit myself a bit)! Their rare books area is also often stocked interestingly--Ive found lots of gems there, like the collected Pierre Louys, and an early translation of the Pillow Book of Sei Shonagon. The staff here have always been friendly with me, and the store itself is well-organized, if a bit on the small side (and it can be overcrowded at peak times). I counted off a star because of the ridiculousness of Half Price Books (overall) trade-in policy. You can bring in boxes and boxes of books that are salable and current, and theyll offer you something thats almost insulting (such as $3 for over two dozen books).

We had 6 huge boxes of books, records, & magazines. It took the guy like 5 minutes to look through our stuff and then he offers $1. The lady that we seen at first was not nice and seemed like we was a problem so she give our boxes to another guy and he was not happy. Never once smiled and didnt say much and was not nice at all. As we was waiting the other employee never said hi or how are you. The costumers were nicer than the employees. I am not sure that I will ever do business with them again. Not happy at all with this place and will not recommend anyone to go there.

Ive always had good luck with Half Price Books. I travel for work and anytime Im in an area with them I try to visit a few. This one, though, had a much smaller selection and some odd pricing issues. Specifically I found a very much used copy of Deeply Odd that retails for 9.99 being sold at 7.99. I know they sometimes sell new books with modest discounts, but if its used isnt it supposed to be half the price? The girl at the counter couldnt explain why either. Ill keep visiting the chain but be careful the prices at this location.

I have always had good luck with selling my books at this location, as well as CDs and DVDs. Last time my wife and I took in 6 huge sack of books, many hardbacks and new best sellers, and we got $22. Together they would have easily made several thousand dollars if sold for half-price at the store. He spent 15 minutes looking at them. I estimated that I got about 1cent per book. Thats a shameful lack of appreciation of their buyers.

The staff are helpful. After shopping here for several years I finally brought in something to sell (and promptly spend). I brought in some nice record albums three times. About 6 - 8 each time and they were of equal value. I got a high of $12.00 and a low of $3.00 from one clerk. I guess it depends on who you get.

One of the original after the flagship on Northwest highway. I come here often and the selection is great. Staff are very knowledgeable and willingly help. Across from Target parking lot location is clean and convenient.

Well kept Half Price. They have an above average game section. I found multiple vintage MicroGames the last time I was there. Very good deals on all board and card games.

Customer service was great. Didnt have all the books I was looking for. 2 out of 20 books. But I didnt order 7 books online from hpb. Receive 4 books quickly. Thanks job.
