An out of the way location, but well worth stopping in if youre a book lover. The interior is pretty cramped in spots, but only due to all the books! They have an extremely reasonable trade-in policy, which has made sure theyre the only people I trade in my media to anymore (and make me regret every giving anything to Half Price Books!). While I might not go in and find any exact book off my wishlists, I can always find plenty of interesting books to pick up! And with trade-in credit, they end up so cheap that I can come out with an armful for the same price I might pay for one new book.

A Private User

This store has more books than you would believe for such a small location! The employees are polite and helpful. My only complaint is that the store is musty, and the books retain the smell of the store for a while after bringing them home. But the prices cant be beat, and they have a great book-buying program, so you can sell books to them and apply credit to your purchase. Best kept secret in town! Im going today to pick up a book I could not find anywhere else -- not even at Half Price Books or the public library.

Three stars, to be nice. Large selection, but the physical facility is lacking. I know the focus should be on the books and such, but the smell is strong and, for me, unpleasant. The restroom and ceiling need updating. Also, need better labeling of the genres and subjects. I did, however, overhear a customer-employee conversation and the customer was a repeater who knew the employee well.

I love the smell in here! They had a book I wanted for $7 (and held it for me). I called HalfPrice books just to see what the price difference would be and they told me that it was $19.99 and they could ship it to me for an additional $4.99 because they didnt have it in stock at that location! HA. Paperbacks plus is my new favorite place.

Blows any book store away, way cheaper too i just bought a 4 book YA series and Pride and Prejudice for only 15 dollars. 3 dollars s book!!! Theres so many things all over its like a maze of books and with walls and walls of books from top to bottom. It has a vintage feels/smell but they have good quality. Amazing.

This is an old fashioned used book and media store. My wife and girls love it to the books, I love it for the music. They have CDs, DVDs, albums, and even some 78s. Comics, magazines, kids, teens and books for adults. The best part is that the prices are a fraction of "Half Price".

Lucky Dog! This place blows Half Price Books out of the water. So much better customer service, the employees here are actually friendly instead of know it all snobs like that other used bookstore. We need more Paperbacks Plus and Lucky Dog stores in DFW

Old fashion bookstore. Very nice selection of books, movies and music. This bookstore will give you credit for books, movies and music compared to Half Price Books. Use can use that credit for yourself or family and friends.

Old fashion bookstore. Has been in the center of old mesquite for years. I remember coming here when I was a child. Layout is still the same. Some gems of books and owner is very knowledgeable!
