I stopped by to sell some books at the Rockwall location today and borrowed a cart to bring them in. I told the girl that helped me I could not wait 30 minutes to sell my books and offered my name, a business card, my Texas drivers license and my phone number so they could call me to come by later for the payment. She asked the man processing the used book sales and he curtly told me he couldnt do that, I would have to wait half an hour or I could load them back in my car. Just no reason to be rude and inflexible to any customer.

Wow, talk about Lowballing a regular customer. I took in 40 plus books, great condition, some best sellers and they offered me $6. LOL!! Thats ridiculous, less than 15 cents a book! I had the Hunger Games trilogy, the Divergent trilogy, anyways, even on the clearance rack they woulda made $35 minimum profit. And if they just at least offered $10-$12 I wouldve reluctantly agreed and spent the money right there in the store. They need new management

Always love half priced books most books cost about a third of the recommended price on the book...my daughter is home schooled and we get all of our books from here cost effective and just about anything you need in one place...just told about a homeschool discount and saved almost $8 which was the price of one of the books I purchased thank you bearded guy that works there that told me about the discount.

Love, love, love going to Half price books. I can stay in that store for hours. Honestly, if you fed me and gave me a place to rest, I could live there. The variety of recycled books, magazines, music, and movies is nothing short of amazing. If I could go everyday, I would...but I must go to work. Sigh, a girl can dream, cant she?

Im glad Rockwall has a bookstore at all, but the selection here is extremely limited - and I guess Im used to more (both online and from the Half Price mother store in Dallas). However, I do believe there are places where you can sit down and read, despite the faintly claustrophobic ambience.

Im a truckdriver from Arkansas, But, I grew up in Arlington. I try to always arrange to park at the T/A truckstop when I am going thru the area. I shop here everytime I get a chance. The staff is very friendly and helpful and I find great deals on c.d."s, books, and movies!

Shopped here and very unpleasant employees, rude remarks,attitudes from different employees were very ugly and acted as if they didnt even like helping customers!! I will tell my family , friends and their friends that the Rockwall Texas store is no place to shop at!

I absolutely love this store. You can find books for any interests at great prices! They also sell movies and CDS which are also extremely cheap! Workers are nice, I highly recommend this store to any book lovers or if youre just bored. So awesome!!
