Dont ever buy a cell phone from Best Buy. I bought a Verizon phone, and they transferred all my data from my old phone to my new one, and than told me I could leave and it would continue to download for free, not using data, over wi-fi LOLOLOL while I dorve around the Seattle area. I was charged 2 times for overage in the next few days, which Verizon credited me ONLY ONCE despite it being a mistake by Best Buy. If I had not gotten a two year contract from Verizon, I would be changing carriers right now. VERIZON customer support IS HORRIBLE, Despite having never had any issues before in the two years prior. But I have had so many issues from buying a new phone, and the outright mis-information from Best Buy and Verizon, it has been a NIGHTMARE. For instance, they told me since I have bad coverage where I live, I could get a range extender for free. After being transferred to technical support, he quickly informed me that it was NOT FREE, but $179, which was a super deal they offered because of their mis-information. The only positive thing was the Verizon Rep named Richard Gross who helped me solve all these problems that Best Buy and Verizon caused. Which took me literally 15 or more hours, and made me angry to boot, which is never a good feeling. VERIZON also mis-informed me that the new Samsung phones, after the Samsung 3, would have wi-fi calling, which was wrong and I did not realize that until after I drove 180 miles round trip to Best Buy to buy the phone. That is why I called up was to ask if it had the wi-fi calling or not, and if not, are there any other options. They did give me the range extender for free, but it took a lot of emotional capital to convince them to do it, and it was kind of odd they decided to NOT give me a credit for the second data overage that caused me $15 and was Best Buys fault, but ended up giving me a range extender for free. I have been buying thousands of dollars of stuff from Best Buy for years. I will not be spending money there again. And after two years, I will be looking at a new carrier, other than Verizon. I also got a virus from my new phone right after I got it, and I had not installed any new apps. Only the old ones were transferred, which I never had a problem with. When I called Verizon, they told me I needed to reset my phone, which unbeknownst to me, reset everything, including contacts. I now have a phone that has NO CONTACTs, and since I was able to restore text messages, I have to go through them to find peoples phone numbers to add to contacts. Over 200 of them. When I told the technical support person I had no pictures I needed to back up, he did not even suggest I back up my contacts, as I did not know they also would be deleted. What a lousy company do deal with.

A few days ago I went in and bought a few products from this store. I bought a new graphics card and a gaming headset. I didnt like the headset so i figured id bring it back. Well, the idea sounded good in my head but when i got there, and tried to return the product. Low and behold i get a print out saying that im essentially banned from returning the product, or any product for that matter for the next 90 days. Who in their right mind would come up with a return policy like this? oh right, a company that is slowly going out of business. At this point i was completely livid, and wanted to speak to a manager. One came over and i just about verbally ripped his head off, but kept cool. He told me there was nothing to he could do and the system blocks us out. So i received a print not saying why i was denied and to call a 1800 number because apparently they contract out to a company that tracks your returns. I was so completely frustrated by now that i didnt even want to talk to this guy anymore. I called the number and they said i had returned too many items and that i wont be able to return any for 90 days. A paying customer should not have to go through this much bullshit to return an item. I will be talking to a corporate supervisor about this issue and hopefully i can get somewhere. Needless to say I will be going to amazon and newegg from now on. They have amazing customer service and a no bs return policy. Best buy has no room to have crappy customer service because they are already losing out to online stores. Dont buy here if you planning on returning something if you dont like a product. Its sad that im considering going to frys more because they have better customer service. What a joke this place is

Ordered a nice Denon receiver online after much research. Went to issaquah store for pick up. That was the only thing that went well. In store price was $50 less than online. (One day after we paid for it online.) They wouldnt refund the difference. We still took the receiver. We decided on a 5.1 surround for our home theater upgrade but wanted to hear the speakers before purchasing them for about $800. We went to where they were and waited for help that never showed up. Finally I interrupted 5 employees gossiping in a different area and got one to help us. We asked to hear the speakers. He said "Oh, theyre not hooked up. Sorry." And he walked away soundlessly. WTF???? So we found a different guy and he said "well we have similar speakers in our sound room you can listen to." So we go in the sound room and he cant get ANYTHING in this custom sound room to work. He says it hasnt worked in days. Well why the F did you bring us in there? Bottom line, they dont care, they would rather be sleeping, nothing is hooked up so you can hear it, and they are overpriced. And for all that equipment to not be working for days in an audio store? Thats like going to a movie and the projector isnt working. But if you MUST go to Best Buy, go to the one in federal way. We were treated like royalty there.

At this rate were not ever actually getting the TV we bought to the house. We were in Bellevue over the weekend (we live in Lakewood) and my laptop finally bit the big one, so we went to Best Buy and got me the one Id wanted. While we were there we looked at the TVs and decided to get one right away since wed get two years 0% to pay it off. TV was supposed to get delivered yesterday, between 8-12p. Noon comes and goes, and no TV. My husband calls and it turns out that the delivery order was never completed by the guy who was helping us. Then it turns out that because it appeared to them that we picked up the TV, and so we couldnt just go pick it up at a different Best buy because it would mess up their inventory. So finally we get that fixed with a manager, and they approve our picking it up at a different store, and so my husband tells them Tacoma, which apparently the manager my husband was speaking with took to mean Tukwila, even after my husband corrected him and the manager verified Tacoma. TV is now ready to pick up in Tukwila. This is why Best Buy is going downhill.
