I was completely frustrated with this Apple Store today. My husband and I are life-long apple users. Well versed and fans of all their products. For the past 6 years I have gone to Apple stores all over the world and have had wonderful support from the people, including this one. Today however that completely changed. The cord to my husbands charger had just snapped cleanly off right at the base of the charger last night. He uses the handle bars when he winds up the cord, so we knew it was not from improper usage - it just is a bad design. We brought in, after waiting several minutes after our appointment time at the Genius bar, and the guy (Robert, who looked like he did not want to be there at all, completely miserable bloke) looked at it and said there was nothing we could do. My husband explained the problem and he simply said "it looks like you broke it and thats not covered." The guy next to him, Rajid (or something like that) "Oh, Ive dealt with this guy before. Let me handle it." My husband looked stunned and said that he had never been to this genius bar before, and certainly not for this problem. It makes me think that other people have the same issue, which then is clearly a design flaw and not the fault of the customers. At this point they basically ignored us. Rajid, the one who was going to deal with us just walked away and Robert started helping someone else. We tried asking him more questions but he just looked up at us like we were pests. He was so incredibly rude and I cant believe that an Apple store would hire someone like that. The people in the store are overall very laid-back and friendly. But these two were some of the most obnoxious people I have ever dealt with in customer relations. It is not like we expected them to hand over a new one, but to have such a negative interaction there completely upset me and we both refuse to go back to this apple store.

I had a simple request to block youtube. First the "genius" laughed. He then looked at what I did and said he solved the problem. I opened youtube and showed him he didnt. He then tried to better figure things out. He concluded that it was impossible to do what I wanted. I said, "is there someone else that can help me." He then stupidly tried to re-explain that impossible means that nobody can figure it out. My thing was that he obviously was out of touch with the phrase, "know what you know and know what you dont know." Ignoring that phrase has been a frequent motif with the apple store people. After he tried to explain what impossible means, I was a little fed up. I told him "maybe you are...wrong, is there someone who might know more about this." He then said "okay" and walked in the back. He let me wait for maybe 10 minutes. Obviously he was bitching to another "genius." persuading him that I was difficult (I speculate) really all it takes to be difficult is not being impressed with basic skills that work wonders for people who still rock pagers. The both of them came out with their minds made up. And repeated what the first ignant already said. No looking for someone who could really help or try and figure out a solution. I think the Russian gentleman might have had an idea.... I tried to explain that I know a way to do it but it would be kind of difficult. They then said, "okay well then do it." Thanks for wasting my time Apple store!!!!

I was there for the most recent strong-armed robbery (11/30/16) and the employees appeared to have no training or robery awareness. The fact that there no effort to direct others to safety or checking to see if everyone was safe and ok afterwards is unacceptable. If youre going to build these box stores with product out for all to touch (and steal) then youd better well build in risk mitigation and strong employee training. This was the third time this store was robbed in less than 30 days. Its obvious that there is a clear risk for more violent events. How is Apple addressing it? Or is Apple sweeping it under the rug because its bad for business which leaves customers and employee at a growing risk? What will it take before Apple does more? Id bet nothing...unless sales begin falling at these risky store locations. The police officer I spoke with recommends staying out of the Apple Store within 90 minutes of closing time because the risk is there for another violent event. Forget that, I just dont need to go there at all. How about you? Steve Jobs must rolling over his grave over this.

Terrible experience, I expend thousand of dollars in apple products, Mac pro, Air mac, I phone 3,4,5,5s- 2 of each one. Ipad, Ipod, hardware and more. diferent types of products for all my family. Well: the Mac pro after 2 years of use the hard drive DIE, I took the computer for warranty and yes they replace it, but when I ask for the old hard drive to take it for a recovery company and find all my documents, pictures, projects and more , they say that I HAVE TO PAY FOR THE OLD HARD DRIVE IF I WANT IT! what type of people charge 139 dollars plus taxes for something that is yours? and you already pay for it when you bough the computer new! Never again apple, they just want your money, they dont care about your needs as a customer.

Staff was rude and showed no empathy when I walked in to pick an in store order but forgot to get my drivers license as id proof. It was a special occasion for me but the floor agent did not care. I would have not been so sad on my happy day if that agent had simply smiled and said I am sorry for you mam but we cannot give you the parcel. Instead he had this emotionless face and a look of I dont care. I want to get an iPad to gift my sister and need to get it from the store as I have no time to order online. But with this experience I dont want to go back to this store and rather buy a sumsung galaxy tab in a close by best buy. I give a 3 because I like apple products.

Apple has nice products. But its so freaking expensive!!! There are other laptops that work great for cheaper prices. iPhones and Tablets too! But I know most people want apple. Apple may have some problems on your iPhone, iPad, and Computer. So whose to say its perfect. Just think about it for a little while. Its more then $2,000 for a laptop. The old ones are obviously cheaper. And thats great for some people who want the older ones. But there slower, and will keep bugging you about updating your laptop. I love apple but it does have many flaws. What company doesnt have any flaws though? But seriously its expensive!!!

Very bad service. I had a BSOD (black screen of death) problem, which is very common for mid-2010 MBP upgrade to Lion. So I went to this store (closest to me) and they said they will run a 6-hr diagnostic and will let me know the result in the afternoon. And I waited for THREE days now (and still counting), checked out a couple times by calling, always said its still ongoing. How the hell can you run a simple diagnostic on a so obvious problem for three days and didnt even give me any answer? (I dont even mean to repair, just an answer on whats going on and what would be repaired, etc!) Terrible. Just terrible.
