My husband and I have been using Rite Aid for the 4 years that we have lived in Gig Harbor. We are in the store for the pharmacy as well as many other of our daily and weekly needs. Between my husband and myself we have several prescriptions each month we are required to get. I had called in 4 scripts that were the same ones I have been taking for 4 years. I went in the day after they were supposed to be ready and they were NOT ready. They told me they could have all of them ready in 30 minutes except one and it would have to be approve by the insurance company . I never heard anything else from this medication until I was called and told they had held the medication for me as long as they could and they would have to put it back if I couldnt come and get it that day. Well, I could not go that day. So I did as they told me to do and called it in again. When I went to pick it up, it was not ready. I finished my shopping in the store went back and it still was not ready. Now, I could understand if there were a lot of people in the store, but there were no customers. They had orders I am sure, but I was a customer standing right there. It has been 4 hours since I left the store and I have not been called to say the script is ready. TOO MANY TIMES WE GO IN AND OUR MEDICINE IS NOT READY!!!!!!!! These are not new scripts! These have not just been called in!!!!!! Then the pharmacist and/or technition is rude. They leave it all up to the cashier to deal with when it is clearly their fault. RITE AID NEEDS TO GET A HANDLE!!!! Too many other choices!!!!! GETTING TIRED OF BEING TREATED BADLY AND HAVING TO MAKE TOO MANY TRIPS TO RITE AID!!!!

The pharmacy at Rite Aid lacks customer service.there is a heavy set lady with brown hair and glasses, she always wears a long sleeve blue shirt. She treats me like crap every time I go in there. I was standing in line and I was the next one to get helped, when it was my turn i sat my basket on the counter and waited for her to help me. Instead of her hwlping me, she made a phone call to what it soumded like her kid because she was asking how their day was at school. I still am standing there waiting to be helped. When the lady cimes back from making a call she told the guy that works there that shes going on break. I stood there for over 10 minutws and no one helped me. Today I drop off my scripts and it was the same lady. I was next in line and she helped a customer that wasnt even in line, she cut me off to talk to the other lady. It was unbelievable. I was completely blown away how I get treated by this lady. Finally she looked at me and didnt even want to help me, she had another lady that wrks there help me. I leave and come back to pick up my scripts and its the same lady that checks me out. She was told that she has a phone call, she stops helpig me and runs to the phone. Some guy I have never seen before had to ginish my transaction. I am switching pharmacies. I have had it with rite aid.

This used to be a pretty decent pharmacy, but the last few times weve been there weve found the assistants and the pharmacists rude and disinterested. The final straw was that they lost my prescription after it was dropped off to be filled. There was no apology, just more rudeness. Were taking our medical needs elsewhere and suggest others do as well. When youre already not feeling well, you dont need incompetence and attitude.

Haggen transferred my prescriptions here when it closed. Of the 4 times Ive been here, my prescription has never been ready on time. I request refills more than 24 hours in advance but they still cant fill them on time. Twice they messed up refills, saying my doctor denied the refill when she had already authorized it. Staff never even apologize for their mistakes. Im taking my business elsewhere.
