I took my mother-In-Laws 4 month old PC to be worked on because it would not start up. I was told they would get it done in a few hours. The computer spent 3 hours there and then the Technician (Ryan) let me know it was about done. I went to get it. I was told they installed the Xubuntu system again and all was well. They had installed it originally three months back when the computer was brand new. I went home and started it. It did start, but it was loaded with strange data that made the start-up long and frustrating, and the wifi did not work (It had not ever been a problem before)! I called Ryan and spent over an hour with him using a remote program to work some more on the computer. He could not get the wifi to work. I was told that perhaps I needed to switch to Windows 7 and purchase a $150.00 License from them if I wanted it to work correctly. This flabbergasted me, since I was told it was working correctly when I picked it up and paid for it. I called back 5 minutes later, but Ryan had left for the weekend. My Mother-In-Law goes stir crazy without her computer, so I decided to try to download another version of Ubuntu to try to get it working for her. 3 Hours later, after training myself in downloading and burning a DVD from the Ubuntu site, I was done and had installed this on her computer. It worked perfectly, so I took it to her house and got her back online. I called Ryan today to request a refund, since I had been told that my computer was done and back in good working condition, when in fact it was not. I was told that I did not give them a chance to fix the issue. This was not true, since I had called and had Ryan take over my computer remotely and he had told me he could not fix it... and then suggested that I needed to purchase Windows 7 to solve the issue. It is impossible for me to believe that Ryan and his boss (The owner) can not understand that they should not charge for work not done. I wanted the computer fixed. They did not fix it, and now complain I did not give them the opportunity to do so. They also indicated that they would have fixed it if I had bought it there. Perhaps that should be there new slogan, "We will fix it if you bought it here...otherwise, maybe not!" I will see if my credit card company agrees with me (That I should not be charged for services not rendered), and tell everyone I know about thei poor business practices of MICROLYNX..

If I could give more stars I would. They are experienced, they are fast and the pricing is very fair. As a small business owner, to be able to make one call and have someone not only understand your problem but say" Yes we can help you right now" is worth gold. They took the time to make sure I understood my initial problem and how to avoid it in the future. So personable, all of them. They evaluated my laptops, made recommendations to improve performance and made the upgrades all by the next day! I was considering the purchase of new machines and now have two laptops that run as if new for half the price of a single new one. Great company.

What can I say! My laptop was having major issues and its 4yrs old. I was having major issues with getting it booted up and I couldnt figure out what the problem was. After going on YouTube and countless message boards, I was still having trouble. It wasnt until I called Microlynx and they rocked it! They were patient with me and took the time figure out the issue and resolve it. Money well spent than my time and headache! I will be going back in a year for my laptop to have a check up lol! Keep up the good work! -First time customer:)

I recently took my computer to have some parts replaced here (The power supply and graphics card) and not only did they replace the parts and have the computer fully functional the next day, they noticed my antivirus software was slowing my computer down and replaced it. This was my first time having a computer serviced here and I will certainly return if I need any parts, advice, or service.

I went in to purchase some screws I needed for putting together a computer. They were very polite, and knew exactly what I needed. While waiting, one of the reps made sure I was up to date on everything I needed to know, and didnt even point it out when I said something dumb on accident. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend.

Needed Ununtu removed from computer and replaced with Windows 8.1. Im very technical but partitioning drives and changing OS is beyond my scope. Took it to them in the a.m. and picked up my computer that afternoon. Thanks for the quick turn around.
