Save yourself some trouble and DO NOT GO HERE. I dont write reviews often but thought this would be an important one because this place is a joke. I took my Computer in on a Friday after calling over the phone and being told they had my battery in stock. At first I thought I was going to be completely satisfied. Someone names Berry helped and concluded that my computer did need a new battery but unfortunately they actually didnt have it and it would need to be ordered. I explained how the following week I was going out of town for a wedding and needed my computer. He assured me my battery would arrive the next day, Saturday or Monday. I called Saturday afternoon to check and was told that deliveries dont even happen Saturday and to try back Monday. So I try back Monday late afternoon and Im told that the battery is still not there. I ask to talk to Berry and Berry actually tells me that he "checked the shipping information" and it should be there Tuesday or Wednesday. Extremely frustrated I did ask if it did not arrive if I could get my money back since I paid in Full. He assured me I could and the last thing I said is that I would call the next day and go from there. So I call Tuesday and Im informed my computer is ready for pick up! Yay right.... No. I go in to pick up my computer and Im informed that Berry actually completely forget to order the battery when I came in Friday for my scheduled appointment and since they thought I was going to cancel the order they never even ordered it after realizing they "forgot". Not only did they forget but I was completely lied to when asked about why it wasnt there Monday. If I would have known Monday, of course I would have picked up my computer right away and tried somewhere else. Here I am Tuesday after coming in five days prior with no battery, and no problem fixed. I was shocked. They didnt offer a future credit or anything besides ordering a battery at partial cost which didnt help since I was on a flight out to California the next day. Save yourself some trouble and drive to any other Simply Mac!

This has been one of the worst apple shopping experiences Ive ever had I walked in ready to buy a Mac computer the guy who helped me didnt even care to answer any quieshtions I came to this place because I was told that if I brought my I phone 6s I could get some trade in store credit to apply to my purchase and I was only $50 off from the computer I wanted so thought that the success would get me at least $50 credit and when I asked him if you could check for the credit available for a 6S and he said he wasnt going to waste his time because he knew I wasnt going to get $50 credit for an iPhone 6s. And I told him if he could still run a quote on it my phone is in perfect condition with box and all but he refused to so I walked out because of the way He was refusing to answer any questions or at least run a small quote on my phone if youre looking for top have a service this is not the place. A few hours after I called the store and to see if their service would be better on the phone same guy answered with a bad attitude still not answering any questions and hung up the phone not caring if I had any other questions and I tried to change my voice to see if it was just me that he would treat like that but it turned out thats just the way his customer services is in Ive never felt so miss treated at any store will not be back or ever recommend this location

I love The Mac Store! Whenever I go to the Apple Store downtown its just so full of people and its hard to get someone to talk to you. When I was looking to buy an iPad, I had to hover around giving sales reps the "please help me" look before one begrudgingly came over to tell me that they dont have any and I should order them online. Ordering online is not an option for me, as I work strange hours and getting deliveries to my house is awkward. So I went to the Mac store. They didnt have it in stock either, but they placed an order for me and called me when they got it in so I could pick it up from a safe location. Theyve also always been very nice to me. Ive had my Macbook Pro in for in-warranty repairs and never had a problem; I actually had my computer back in my hands 2 days after I dropped it off there. The only reason I didnt do 5 stars is that they very frequently dont seem to have things in stock. Every time Ive gone to buy a video game there, the game has been out of stock. They order it for me which is awesome and I really appreciated that, but it would have been even better if I could have walked out with it that day!

I purchased an iMac for my sister back in the 90s. I bought it through the Portland store. It was a great machine. Then I helped a friend purchase one, and we came to Portland from Tacoma, to save on the taxes. Then I purchased a PowerBook for myself (my first laptop). I used the Beaverton store for that one, because the Portland store didnt have the one I wanted in stock. That went well too. After that machine was stolen I went to Portland and purchased another laptop, this time I got a MacBook Pro. This Intel chipped machine is great. This past spring (09) I took another friend down and we spent the night, had a great time and bought her an entire set up. She loves her machine and the staff were wonderful. I was going to post a review back then, but it slipped my mind so this one is actually times four. I would not return time and again if I didnt "feel the love" and appreciate their professionalism. You get my thumbs up. I think I have purchased or been responsible for someone else purchasing 8 new and one used computer from The Mac Store/Portland

Was in your store on Saturday to look at a 15" MacBook Retina for our business BUT NEVER AGAIN. We tried to look at the 15" Retina but your sales associate (Sarah I think) was standing in front of the 15" Retina discussing the features of the 13" Retina with a customer. I slid the 15" to the side so we could get a look at it but with the associate not giving an inch of ground we gave up. I got my wife a new cover for her iPad and we then stood at the checkout counter for no less than 15 minutes while Luke helped a customer with either an exchange, return, or something that required a lot of time. He was very nice and apologized to us and the customers standing behind us for the delay but never called anyone for addition counter help. Meanwhile an employee was loudly chatting up a customer or friend (perhaps both) about bus speeds and feeds of past Macintosh products. Not a great experience but it could have been an off day for ALL FOUR floor employees. :)
