I went here because I believe in supporting local businesses. I paid a thousand bucks for a mattress set when they were called "The Rack". The saleswoman told me that she has arthritis and has this bed at home and it has helped her tremendously. When I got it home, there was a rip in the seam. I was advised that I needed to let the store know because this would void the warranty if I didnt. So, they ordered a replacement. the looks I got when I exchanged it could have killed! They acted like I had no right to complain! Really? If I wanted factory seconds, I would have gone to such a discount store! Three months later, the eurotop totally collapsed and there was a horrible dip in it. By that time, they no longer sold the model I had and exchanged it for another that looked similar. the first one was a Corsicana. The second one is some company I have never heard of before. Again, I was treated like some second rate citizen for having the nerve to complain about the product I bought from them. Six months later, I feel like I am again laying in a groove and am waking up in horrible pain every morning. The people at Stack have refused to help me. After telling me that body impressions are normal, I told him that they should not be this deep in less than a year and interfere with sleep and cause pain and if they are this bad now, how would it last 10 years, as the warranty indicated. Their offer was to have me bring the mattress back to them, they would (out of the goodness of their heart) send it to the manufacturer, so they could examine it and then I would have to come back to pick up the replacement, or this one if the manufacturer decides that it is not an issue. I told them that is ridiculous! Not only would I have to rent a U-haul truck twice, but would have to be without a bed until someone decided to look at it! I agreed to buy a Corsicana mattress, not some off-brand by Mattress Makers inc in Tacoma, and certainly could have gotten a more comfortable bed at some discount warehouse for half the price! By the way, the saleswoman who claimed she had this same mattress and how it helped her arthritis so much? Well, a week after I bought mine, a friend of mine went in, and this same woman told her the same thing about another mattress! Wow! If you to lie to sell a mattress set youre selling the wrong mattress!

This place is very eager to please when trying to make the sale, then once they have your money you find out all their promises were not exactly accurate. For example, we were told when we bought a pair of recliners that the delivery fee would include assembly of the chairs (they come in 2 pieces). When the delivery guys got there, they were like uh, no. Thats an extra $30. And the boxes wouldnt fit through our door, but they wanted $30 to take off the box and carry them in. So the chairs ended up being left in our garage, and we had to carry them in ourselves. We were trying to avoid this since my husband currently has not one but two sprained ankles. We have an SUV. We could have driven them ourselves if we knew that we were going to have to carry them in and put them together. Also we werent told until after the fact that we would have to pay the delivery guys separately with cash or check only. We thought we paid on our credit card when we paid for the chairs. So that was a big surprise. We finally got half of our delivery fee back, but only after having to argue back and forth with the owner of the store over email. I also agree with the person below about the IKEA furniture. We saw a wardrobe there listed for $329, then slashed to I think $150 or $175 that we got for $65 directly from IKEA. Thats not a "minor" markup.

Let me start by saying that the sales staff is very friendly and they have some cute furniture. I buy a lot of furnishings for my business and I would love to be a big fan of The Rack. However, Im not and I think its worth sharing some of my bad experiences. First, all sales are final. They will not refund your money - even if they send you home with the wrong item and then replace it with a defective one. I had to make 4 visits to their store to buy a single pair of bar stools. It was an ordeal! Secondly, if you have children, just go someplace else. While most of the sales staff is kid-friendly, the owner, Maggie, is definitely not. She previously reprimanded me for allowing my child to "climb" on a recliner (thats how a 2 year old gets up into a chair!) and today she scolded me for allowing my 4 year old to bring his plastic toy sword into the store. (Sorry, it should have been a 5 minute visit but you guys couldnt find my merchandise!!!) Anyway, Im disappointed and Ill be taking my business elsewhere!

4 months ago after a year of research I purchased an adjustable bed at a local store for $5000. For months the stores advertisements around town spoke of discount prices but never on the set I was looking for. Im a disabled senior and hoped for a break. I finally broke down and bought it. They gave me $225 discount on cash. yeah, really? Today I went to Stack Furniture. They carry another American locally made brand with all the options that even paying for delivery and set-up would have been half the price. The service was awesome.I bought 3 chairs. This will be my final home. It makes me sad to have been ripped off but so pleased to be able to tell others. If you are looking for an adjustable bed start at Stack Furniture in Fife and see if they have what you are dreaming of first so you arent disappointed like I was. I hope you are pleased like I was.

I have bought all of my furniture here over the last several years. Dining Room Set, Master Bedroom Set, Bunk Bed, a rocking recliner, Bar Stools, mattresses and there are a few reasons I keep going back. 1) Because everyone there is always helpful and genuinely nice; 2) The prices are great; 3) they have a wonderful selection and a wide variety of inventory. As I mentioned a bought a bunk bed there, after about a month the attached desk and one of the rails broke on it. I called them, they pulled up my account and agreed to get the replacement parts and came out and fixed it as soon as they got he new parts in. This was all free of charge. I can not speak to others experiences but I have been nothing but delighted with their products and service. I highly recommend The Rack Furniture.

While the staff were immediately helpful and not overly pushy, I noticed that some of the furniture especially in the bedroom department is from IKEA. I pulled out my phone and went to the IKEA page online and sure enough, the RACK was selling their dressers for nearly 120$ more than what you would pay directly from IKEA. Unfortunately, I cant support a business that makes a name for themselves by marketing bargain prices when they are actually just misrepresenting the manufacturer price and putting lots of big flashy slash marks on the price tag. Make sure you are prepared for multiple trips so you can do some comparison shopping, because buying a damaged dresser for more than what you would pay for a brand new one is just not good business.
