Horrible... In recent weeks we had the following experiences: 1) We bought a fridge, it arrived with a slight dent on the side - they offered us $75 back - Im still waiting for the check... 2) We bought a range hood. It requires somewhat specialized light bulbs (not included) which the employees were totally clueless as to where to find (funny thing - the information is right on the outside of the box)... 3) Dropped my lawnmower for repair. It took over an hour, and dragging my lawnmower twice the length of the store, just to get that process done (first an employee told me to take it over to tool rental, then the guys at tool rental told me to take it over to customer service). Was told they will get to in in 2-3 days... . Its been well over 3 weeks no word about the lawnmower... When I complained to the manager - I got the impression that he did not care. My advice - Lowes just down the road (keep on going about 3 miles east on 128th St

Hit or Miss in the Customer Service Dept. I have been doing online orders and they are working great. Fast and Easy, when I find what I am looking for on the web. Sometimes I get a really knowledgeable person to help me in the store, other times its not their department. Love Chris in the paint department, others not as helpful. Good service lately in the kitchen department. Very helpful ladies. Still prefer HD to Lowes. Price is better than the Silverlake Ace, but not as quick or friendly service. Been a customer since they opened 20 plus years, probably will be until I cant garden or work on my house anymore.

Been shopping here for years and spent close to 80$k by now. However, was looking for a construction light today and when I asked one of the guys where I could find it, cause I couldnt find it in tools along with other construction related tools and stuff. He started laughing out loud right to my face along with some other idiot that was standing next to him and said in electric?? Like it was the dumbest thing I couldve asked. Horrible customer service. I wish I could fire you african-american guy in plumbing.

Came here last night with 2 small children and received no help at all from carrying the tree to the chopper all the way to the front of the store by myself. Then I walked back to the lot area and asked for string and they told me it was on the other side of the store and I would have to go get it myself. It was a $45 small tree so I ended up leaving it because I can get a better deal and receive help from a small tree lot who cares about customers. Wont buy from this big box store unless i truly have to.

We stopped shopping at a nearby Lowes about 3 years ago and have since been with Home Depot Everett, WA 98204. This store has adopted a strong be the best customer service approach to its business. I particularly like the Pro Desk there. One person, REEF is his name, is very knowledgeable and pro customer. Even during his busy times, he makes time for me. We recieved frantic, flakey customer service while buying a new oven. They were supposed to get it ready for us to take home, several hours later it still wasnt ready for us to load into the truck. When we got the oven home and installed it, there weret any knobs. We called them and they ordered knobs, from the manufacturer... AND THEN THEY CHARGED US NOT ONLY FOR THE KNOBS, BUT THE SHIPPING TOO! Awful experience all around.

People here are usually rude but this last weekend everyone seemed helpful except for the guy working at the plumbing section in the morning. He actually made us chase him with our question and then later proceeded to stare at us like he was mad doging my friend and I. Avoid this place if you are looking for customer service. Not all employees are bad but it is a 50/50 chance you will get someone who doesnt care

I made an order online for in-store pickup. 1) They couldnt fill the order despite the inventory listed online. 2) The trim pieces I ordered were damaged. Clearly, they were trying to dump the damaged pieces on me. When I attempted to choose replacement panels for the part of the order they could not fill, customer service made me feel like I was being a problem stating, "I shouldnt have to be doing this"

Went to look for some drainage hose the other day and not 1 of the 5 people, working in the garden area asked if I needed help. I went to ask someone myself and had to chase people it seemed, even being ignored by one associate. I decided if I couldnt find what I needed and if I had to chase people down, Id go to another store where i knew where the pipe was and got what I needed instead.

Tool rentals and customer service are the worst Ive ever seen. Dont bother trying to reserve a tool rental. I called the day before and they toldl me to call back tomorrow morning. I called that moring and told them Id be there in 1 hr. They told me call back when Im 30mins away...?! Wierd?.Then they rented my tool to someone else and had none left in stock. WHAT THE FU#k!

Every time i go to this home depot Tawny in the plumbing department gives the best costumer service and advice I could ask for. She is knowledgeable, helpful, and knows her department like the back of her hand. By far she is the best customer service rep I have encountered at any home improvement warehouse. Returning items here is a nightmare without a receipt. I have been doing business with them for over twenty years as a landscaper, they refused my return ? On top of the Nazi service person at the desk. Taller older woman. With blondish Hair. She has terrible customer service and hates people who return things. I usually like this store, but on Easter Sunday I stopped in to get a few materials to finish a job that I had put off to spend time with family. I checked the website to make sure they were still open, loaded up my tools, went to the store to find out that they closed two hours earlier. I was so mad! What a waste of my time.

I purchased hardwood floor with installation in November 2014. The service was done poorly and the installer argued with me, leaving the work unfinished. After multiple visits from contractors and an inspector, nothing is resolved yet. It is already March 2015. If you still decide to do any service with them, well, good luck.

For some reason, everytime i tackle a home project, it means multiple trips to the hardware store. Home Depot is my 1st go to as my preferred hardware needs (not only cause its closer) as I believe the quality / price is within my reach. Folks are freindly and knowledgable, and stock is usually sufficient for my needs.
