Poor selection. Prices way too high. Go to Kelseyville Lumber. One example, I needed some shrink wrap stuff for wrapping a pallet. Mendo mill was $45 for a roll, Kelseyville lumber was $26 for a roll that has 50% more wrapping material. When I brought his up to the guy at the "customer service" counter his reply was, "So?". Wow. Seriously? Thats the official response? Another example. I needed a 20 amp circuit breaker. Mendo Mill was $40 while K-Ville Lumber was $20 for the exact same breaker, same brand, everything. Nope. Avoid Mendo Mill. They are a rip-off and they know it and dont care.

I would agree the employees are great. The selection is not bad either. The prices are high, but theres no competition. The lumber yard is a nightmare. Prices are a mystery. You have to track down an employee to use a walkie-talkie to call into the office every time you want to know a price. Then, once youve selected your lumber, you have to go back into the store to pay for it rather than ringing it up outside. Praying for Lowes to save us in the near future.

i get very irritated when i cannot shop for anything related to hardware in this entire county after 6pm and this is 7 days a week. when i have mentioned this to the store personnel , all have always said "the owner thinks that people should be home with family at this hour of night" what about the people that are single w/o families ? gosh, not even one evening til 8pm ?

Had trouble putting a outdoor rocking chair together. Took it back to the store and the man (I think his name was Paul usually works plumbing) was to nice and helpful, fixed the chair and made sure it worked Thank You!
