Terrible! I have been a property owner and business owner in the Laural district for 21years. I am also african American wOman . I was treated very rude and accused of trying to steal a $4. 00 item. I told the young employee that I didnt appreciate being profiled aND said I would not shop there again. (That was 1 month sgo) However I received a $5.00 gift for spending a lot of my money there while doing a major renovation on my home. The owner( female.) Pulled me to the side for what I thought was going to be an apology. Instead she told me not to return because she didnt like that I was complaining about the store having racist behavior and policy. Once she started yelled at me , I walked away laughing and thinking of the "60s" where black folks were not welcomed in white stores. WOW REALLY ITS 2016! I will never shop there again. Even if I get another $5.00 gift.

This is a great neighborhood hardware store, everyone is helpful and they know what they carry. You can find just about anything you need for home repairs. For a small hardware store they pack in a good amount of items. Its nice to be able to shop and support neighborhood stores. If they dont have it they are happy to order also, though most of the times when you need it thats when you need it...

Very Skilled Locksmith (Amanda). Went in there to replicate a broken 1991 BMW key that was torn in half. Had went to few other places but no success. Amanda was able to replicate the broken key in her first attempt. She and other staff (Westley) demonstrated great customer service. Thanks!!!

This is my neighborhood hardware & garden store, and I love this place. They are even open the hours that I work on my house - usually after noon on weekends! Sometimes I have to go to another store for something that Laural Ace doesnt have in stock, but I always start here first.

Great local hardware store. Helpful staff but they dont hover and bother you either. They have a wide variety of items for a small store. Some prices are a little higher higher than the Home Despot but it is really great to have a local business in the neighborhood.

I arrived prior to 6:30 (their advertised close time), but a lady was standing by the door not letting people in. They dont want your business so dont waste your time. I recommend the Ace Hardware on Grand Ave.
