I have never experienced such a poor service from a company before. Home Depot is 7 minutes from my house and usually my "go to" place for anything home related. This weekend I was there several times, wants to look at water heaters, and wants to rent a tool. When I went in for the water heater, I was told to wait for a representative and I stood there for over 15 minutes. When he finally came over to me I asked him one question, he handed me a brochure and told me to go home and call home depot phone line. No service in the store. Then this morning and went around in tool, while standing there for 5 minutes, another man came in behind me dressed in construction dear. The man at the counter lifted his head and asked the construction guy what he wanted instead of me who is standing there with his daughter. After waiting another 15 minutes for him to help the construction guy, he asked me what I needed, which was a nail gun. He glanced around behind him, told me he didnt have one, and he couldnt help me. I am done with Home Depot, para mi do not want my money or my service. Its a shame, I usually spend thousands every couple months. Ill be going to the Johnsons do it center, a locally owned business instead from here on out. They care enough to actually help you, and seem to want to impress you.

It seems the two major competing hardware stores Home Depot AND the other guys are having a hard time. Ive seen turnover on emplyess take place in the past couple years. It has just gotten bleak. I helped a lady today in the plumbing section find grommets for her garden hose. She told me two different employees told her two different places and neither were correct. I had the same experience a couple months ago, because theyve also changed the location of alot of things in store inventory which used to be mostly the same in every Home Depot. An employee told me locations of two different items that were also wrong. So it wasnt the previous ladys fault. And in regard to other hardware stores..? You may find better service at another store, or even at a different branch as they all seem to vary. Best to you getting in and out quickly, be prepared to go hunting at Home Depot.

This Home Depot is close to my home, and Ive always been able to get in and out quickly and without hassle. They have self-checkout kiosks that help, especially when youre just getting a few items. This way you dont get caught up behind more complicated purchases. Another thing that I like is that they allow you to get your receipt e-mailed to you instead of a paper copy, which cuts down on clutter. And they are one of the first stores to accept PayPal, directly. So ironically enough, the store that has been pushing checkout technology forward is not Best Buy or the Apple Store, or some other electronics store, but it has been Home Depot. The employees here are courteous and willing to help you find whatever you need and can be found easily as youre passing by while youre on way through the aisles.

The employees are extremely disrespectful and have no regard for customer service. Am being treated like a criminal I purchased 2 sprayers in Covington and found them for cheaper online at Lowes so 30 minutes after I purchased them I had traveled to the home depot in Kent to return the items they told me a manager had taken an hour lunch at 9:00 pm and wont be back until the store is almost closed and they dont have the power to get my full amount until the manager has returned. I am currently waiting in the store and it is 9:30 pm. I have been coming to home depot my entire life and I have never had an experience like this, they told me they didnt even have enough money to return one of my sprayers

Worst service ever, after waiting in line a long time ask tool rental guy to check people out he says no. Cashier calls for a second cashier to help, they call tool rental. Then some one gets to the register and plays with an item a customer left (after being smart and not waiting). The back up cashier helps three people entering the store and then does not help the next guy in line helps the guy that walks past the line and checks him out. Then leaves the register. As a licensed bonded and insured contractor I will not be going back there again!

Terrible. Kent store has horrible customer service (thank you for that private conversation I got to listen to while waiting for you to actually answer home depot. Trying to order lightbulbs and Im being told they cant ship them to WA state. They carry the same damn bulb in the store! How do they get it there?? So frustrating and please... have fluent English speaking representatives. Nothing more frustrating when you live in the US and you cant understand CUSTOMER SERVICE. What is the point?!?!

I called kent home depot about delivery dates on appliances, because i need my appliances on a specific date. The delivery date is going to determine where i get my appliances. The person in appliances told me that he couldnt tell me delivery dates until I bought appliances. That sounded rude and incorrect. I called the covington home depot and they helped me immediately, and they have the date available I need. I will be buying my appliances from the covington home depot tonight.

Ordered a door installation. Took 5 months after ordering to be completed. Installation was cancelled multiple times with less than 4 hours notice (wasting our paid time off), no significant effort was made to leave me a satisfied customer, additionally tried to say I owed additional money when I went to get some of the installation cancelled and refunded, and then they didnt even bother to follow through on the phone call they emailed about for customer satisfaction survey.

The positive reviews here are a joke. Despite showing a clear picture of what I was looking for, not a single employee out of 5 knew what I needed. All wanted to pass me on to someone else. One gentleman employee in electrical looked irritated. Every other employee I happened upon quickly scurried away as if they were busy doing something more important than providing RELEVANT and thoughtful customer service.

We went in to find some simple blinds. Asking at the front door, the clerk directed us to the wrong aisle. We ended up finding them anyway. Then, later, we asked another, different clerk where the plastic garbage bags were and he had to radio someone else. I feel like no one in the store knows the stock--couple that with a confusing layout and you get a really yucky customer-service experience.

I spend a lot of my day at Home Depot because I flip houses. I shop at the Bonney lake store, puyallup store, both tacoma stores and the Southcenter store. The Kent Home Depot is by far the worst. Employees are rude and this store always seem to be understaffed or has employees hiding out. I dont know the last time someone on the pro side checkout has ever even said hello. Hate this place

I was in the plumbing dept today with a long list of items to find in the kent store thinking I will be here for at least an hour, then Kimmie asked if she could help, I showed her my list of items and was on my way to check out In No time, I was really impressed with her knowledge of each item and its location ! There is still great customer out there.
