Ample parking for having a place downtown. The downside is that all of the parking isnt connected. Usually fairly busy but the people there are friendly and for the most part knowledgeable. If you ask one person and they dont know usually the second one will. The paint dept is great and I keep my old orders with them. That way if I need a sample to touch up a few places theyve got it on record.

Hands down the best hardware store in Santa Barbara. Its a bit confusing your first time there -- but start exploring or ask for help and you will soon find what you are looking for. Also, be prepared to get a little aggressive when its time to get in line. There are 4 different windows all over the place and its not one line for all of them -- pick one and stick with it and hope for the best.

I go there for everything! Price, selection of tools and materials and that good old fashioned neighborhood service and smile! Everyone there is knowledgeable in there specific department. I never have a problem finding someone who is happy and willing to help. Even the cashiers ask, "what are you working on?" because they care. A home center/hardware store done right!

A huge range of products: hardware, tools, plumbing, storage bins, light bulbs, kitchen, patio, plants, soils, irrigation, lumber, aviary wire and hardware cloth by the foot, and a spiral gum ball machine my kids love. Im a cheapskate and have found this place to have competitive prices, especially with their coupons and Ace Rewards.

Ace Hardware Employees are absolutely awesome, and such a blessing to bring back the long lost meaning of real Customer Service to the industry. So Ill be doing all of my Christmas shopping there too :) Too bad they dont sell groceries, and handle banking.

The staff is super--knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Used to drive much further until I realized I was shooting myself in the foot--know what I mean?! Home Improvement Center is the BEST!

Great store but locking everything up and having to be carried up front by a employee and then not getting your stuff is stupid figure out a better system wont spend my money there no more
