They have an overall great selection and fair prices, where they go wrong however is their treatment of certain costumers. Ive spent a lot of money at this store but every time I come in Im treated as though Im going to steal. Apparently because Im young and have a beard and not wearing a tucked in shirt Im a flight risk. On top of all my other experiences, the one I had today was accompanied by one of the employees basically calling me a liar about a certain situation concerning leaking containers, and patronizing me by not acknowledging the substance I removed from the surface of the container he was holding right in front of his eyes and proceeding to put both containers back on the shelf. I will continue to use this store because if its closeness to my house. You can rest assured however, as soon as there is a better option, I will never return. Ace Hardware and their goofy employees are dead to me.

This is seriously the best Hardware store around. Everything is really organized, the employees are super helpful and nice, and theyve got awesome prices on things like nuts and bolts. The two best things about this store have to be the fasteners section and the key area. The fastener section has a massive selection of nuts, bolts, washers, you name it, and its all extremely organized and really easy to find. I find it amazing how Ace has more fasteners than Lowes does, yet Lowes has a three isle disaster while Ace has an organized haven. And the key area is awesome too, they can copy almost any key you bring in, even car keys with chips in them, and its usually under $3 in most cased. Even though Lowes is 30 seconds from my house, I always drive here just because its such a good store.

Been shopping at Ace in Silverlake since 2005. Did have a reward card until today when I gave it back because of the way I was treated. CS was rude and I have never received one benefit from the reward card. I have always supported small local business and will continue but not Ace in Silverlake! My "coupon" I presented today was no good for some reason not explained so left the Ace coupons that I had in my purse along with my reward card and hope the business goes down. Poor customer service has bankrupted businesses before, so good luck Ace in Silverlake.

I used to LOVE coming to this store! I would rather go someplace small and have great interaction then go to a big box store where I can never find what I want. I came in the other day to return something with my 8 year old daughter. I came up to make the return and I was treated so poorly that my 8 year old asked why "she was so rude". I will not go back again.

Greatest hardware store to shop at!! Employees remember who u are and are super knowledgable and get u in and out quickly and just the overall setup is phenominal. There is always somebody to help u when u need it. I always go here first before any place else. This once again is the greatest hardware store to shop at!!!!

I like to go to Ace Hardware in Silver Lake because they are a smaller operation than the big box stores and always have great service. I highly recommend them and even buy stuff here that I know I might find cheaper somewhere else but they are so much more convenient and nice.

This Ace is the greatest. I love the garden items and can spend hours in the store. The staff is very knowledgeable, helpful and pleasant. I had heart surgery and cannot lift and the store is going to bring my order to me. What more can you ask for. Thank you ACE Silver Lake

The staff here is always great and very helpful, serves most of my hardware needs. There are seldom empty pegs on the walls like other other hardware stores Ive been forced to go to when this Ace doesnt stock what Im looking for.
