The owners and employees need to be educated on the propane filling laws. We have a two 50 pound propane tanks for our RV. We tried to get them filled and were told they couldnt because they didnt have an OPD on them. They do not require it by law. We will be going to Hi-way Fuel from now on. At least they know what they are doing! Here is the law Fern Praire Market and the pounds of a propane tank means because you dont know that either. The OPD is required on all propane tanks up to 40-pound capacity on tanks manufactured after September 1998 A 20 lb. tank is sometimes referred to as a 5-gallon tank, although this isnt the most accurate way of describing size. A 20 lb. tank actually holds closer to 4.7 gallons. Its more accurate to refer to tank sizes by the number of pounds of propane they hold rather than gallons. Propane tanks are filled to 80% capacity, leaving a safety cushion of 20% for gaseous expansion.

Fantastic country store with great customer service, good grocery selection, killer beer selection with a beer cave (they sell my favorite Hamms!) Propane Chevron fuels firewood and they sell clear premium 92 octane ethanol free gas a must-have for Yodas,dirt bikes and anything else that you care about that takes gasoline...keep up the great work owners and employees!:-)

Great little market! Great meat and produce! Found this place a few years ago when we were out for a drive. Love to grab tasty food from the deli for a picnic at Lacamas Lake nearby.
