Soooooo my buddy had to stop and get some tie-downs and other garbage and insisted we go here, despite my protests (we passed a half-dozen legit hardware stores on the way). I personally do not support this kind of consumer activity, Walmart represents the worst kind of labor exploitation up the entire chain from production to final sales and even garbage generation from all the crap they sell, so Im biased. Very biased. HOWEVER...my dumb friend took money out of the self-checkout lane and then forgot to take the cash as we walked away. I may have distracted him as I complained about how many of the employees we saw were likely on SNAP benefits or public low-income healthcare, my bad. At any rate, he realized his mistake by the time we got to the actual ATM, but the $$$ was gone. We asked the self-checkout monitor/assistant and events were set in motion - a few minutes later my friend was handed a stack of money and everybody was all smiles. Astounded, I clarified what had just happened. Turns out the self-checkout machines recognize when someone doesnt take the money, and since he had his reciept handy, the manager was able to issue the cash from the nearby office. It happens often enough that there wasnt any confusion. I grudgingly admit that the employees were the stars (not a system where the customers do the work of checking themselves out, oy) and so a few stars are warranted despite my reservations about Walmart in general. If you must shop at a place like this...at least the folks working here on a Friday night were nice. 3 stars for the effort of the staff, zero stars for the company.

Ever hear the old saying, " you get what you pay for?" Well, thats Wal-mart. They import cheap crap from china, then sell it at a cheap price, (with a healthy 1000% mark up of course) to us. And when we buy it, it breaks. We got what we paid for. But it works both ways. Wal-mart cant import cheap labor from china to work here. Although you just know the walton family would love to! So they hire locals who are so down on their financial luck that they become servants to Wal-Mart. minimum wage, and part time hours only. The typical employee at this walmart works 18 to 25 hours a week, and on varying days. There are maybe 20 full time employees at this store. And they only get bonuses by cutting hours for the rest of the employees. Hell, the loss prevention team is instructed to watch employees more than the average customer. Thats the Wal-Mart way. So with the promise of NEVER getting a raise, and the constant threat of being written up for the smallest infraction, the typical Wal-Mart employee cant really be blamed for their lack of enthusiasm. And Wal-Mart gets what they pay for. :)

Horrific experience; I wont be back to this store and it might do it for Walmart, period. Ive had less than stellar WM experiences in the past but this one left me totally frustrated. I ordered on line, got an email that the order arrived. Went to store, waited and waited for any clerk. Three employees came by and said: I dont work in this department but Ill see if I can find someone. Finally a clerk. He looked for my order, came out said he couldnt find it. Did he want me to look again? Well, sure, what the heck, Im already here. Looked again, said he couldnt find it. Long pause looking at me. I finally say, well what happens now? Clerk: you want me to get someone else to look? Sure, why not? After 25 minutes waiting and another 20 minutes r/t commute - there was no clerk and no order to take home. Found an assistant manager and asked for a refund. Went home, ordered the same product through Amazon Prime; it will be on my doorstep day after tomorrow for EXACTLY the same price. Why should I go back to this store?

Every single employee we encountered seemed bothered and the store is clearly understaffed. I understand it was a busy time, but when an employee was found by a customer (not just us), they often didnt have solutions for them. Saw at least 5 separate customers waiting for long periods of time. Felt bad for the employees that were trying. Saw employee Holly J (possibly on break but still in uniform) using her phone as she walked through store, when customer asked her question she turned while still walking and made a gesturing motion then turned around again and kept walking. Twice we tried to get a ring resized, they sent it to the plant, took 2 weeks, sent it back without modification. Didnt ever get correct sizing, even though they assured us it was. This happened twice... Very disappointed in the service but its to be expected in this day and age. At least the products we bought were fine.

POOR, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! After standing 10 minutes at customer service desk and plenty of associates standing at registers-3 of them when I looked at them looked at me but instead of saying that it doesnt open for another 15 minutes (normally when lights on at the desk means open in the past) they 3 employees looked back towards each other and I proceeded to still wait finally I asked or would of been still waiting when I said really great customer service couldnt of informed me that still closed they walked away mind you these are adults not high school age employees which I sad to say except NO SERVICE from most are to enthralled or have no clue /idea about going about their job description unless reminded to do so so I am little perturbed since takes few seconds to say something so not wasting time for someone who wont be there for 15 minutes

Not really a fan of Walmart and the effect they have on our local business. I understand they are going to open yet another Super Walmart on 4th plain. So we need 4 and 2 grocery centers? Dont think so! Against my better judgement I do go to Walmart on Hwy 99 occasionally. Its a dark, dirty store. Crowed and seems like everything is a mess, look in the shoe department, yikes! Many shelves are empty. Never enough associates for help. I wrote to corporate a couple of years ago about the conditions in the store and it has not changed. I personally am sick of the Walmart takeover. Cheap crap, cheap wages=second richest corporation in the world! Is this what we really want?

My last few visits to this location I have been solicited by either church groups or sports teams fundraising money In front of the doors right when you walk in ( Very obvious Walmart allows them there as they have tables and booths set up ). Some of which seem very aggressive about pushing you to donate. Walmart staff seem very Unknowledgeable about products & location of products Most of the cashiers have a very Miserable look on their face and are very slow at ringing your purchase up and getting you through the line. There are also a lot of street people and Pan handlers in this area begging for money.

I like walmart but since Ive moved up here my wife and I have decided not to go to this walmart any longer. One associate told us after waiting 30 minutes in a department for help that there were 3 associates for 5 departments. Another associate said that they will NEVER install self check out because the square footage of the building isnt big enough. The lines are extremely long at almost any time of the day and its rare to see more then 2-3 lines open at a time. Simple things could really make a difference but this store simply doesnt care and now I dont care for this walmart.
