I recently bought a car from Platinum Wholesale Auto and it was a used 1999 Honda Accord. While this lot has many cars over $25k, my car was likely the cheapest car on the lot. Anyhow, after paying for the car I ran into problems that we both didnt know about. Initially I was very worried that I was going to be car-less again and I bought a bad car. I called the dealership and they came out to me and gave me a loaner SUV for the weekend. Come Monday I had my car back and it had no problems. Two weeks later, I had my car serviced locally at a corporate car lube shop. They up-sold me into a radiator flush to accompany a transmission fluid change I came in for. My car didnt get driven much over a couple days, but on the third day following the radiator flush my car overheated. This is an issue associated with the shops crappy service and a likely air bubble that burst a couple hoses. The shop put the blame on the dealership. Not knowing what to do, I was again afraid of being car-less and praying I didnt buy a bad car. I am no mechanic and I called Platinum Wholesale Auto again. Immediately I went there and they gave me a loaner car and they will be helping me figure out the damages and send the bill to the shop that serviced my car. I am grateful that I chose a dealership that is local and takes care of their customers. I appreciate it so much!! Ashley

So many Car Dealerships to choose from, they are dime a dozen, but Platinum Autos in Bellevue is that special one that exist on the eastside that will provide Service, Service, Service, and more Quality Customer Service. This dealership has taken a very unique approach in selling cars to their customers the right way. It is a very casual place where you can take your time and window shop for your favorite cars from the choices they offer. They also have more vehicles that are not on the lot due to space limitations but can be viewed by just calling them ahead. prior to your arrival. During my stroll around the parking area, I didnt feel like a prey where numerous vultures where circling about waiting for that " pounce." Im sure you all know what I mean when we shop for a new vehicle at a dealership: the tension, the anxiety, not to mention the frustration that ultimately leading to a raised blood pressure. I was taken care of from A thru Z. From finding the right vehicle, to a very simple negotiation of the price, having them arrange financing and then driving away with my new vehicle. My entire purchase process went very smoothly and so will yours. I truly enjoyed purchasing a car for the very first time in my life. It felt good. It felt like I was somewhat empowered.

First time purchasing a Lexus. Been owners to 2 Acuras and 2 Nissans and never a Toyota brand and wanted to give a try. So we stopped by Platinum Autos to check it out. When we first arrived at the dealership, there were a lot of people looking around the lot checking out different vehicles, and we were trying to find a sales rep since its a pack house. And then Austin showed up! He was very knowledge about all the Lexus vehicles, hes very polite and have a great attitude toward showing you around. He didnt give us anything like, "oh, what do I have to do today to earn your business?". Hes very professionals in all area. He will really take the time to show you everything. Since this was the first time we are purchasing a Toyota/Lexus vehicle, he showed us the pros and cons about owning a Lexus and he printed everything out because he want to show us what we are getting. Best part was they gave us $2,800 more than the Acura dealer offered us for our trade! He truly is great in what he does and I will definitely recommend him personally if any of my family, friends, neighbors, and everyone I know to him when they need to purchase a vehicle. Platinum Auto is a great dealership and has a great family relationship with all their customers. You wont get cheated if you go see Austin!

As other people mentioned, communication is not the strongest side of the owner. However, I am guessing owner is tired of people wasting his time and then changing their mind the very last minute, but still this is not an excuse to treat customers like that. That said, we bought two cars from this place, and those were two _best_ used cars we bought so far (3 cars before had immediate problems). You might not get the fanciest customer service, coffee, whatever at this place, or, car wont be fully detailed etc (unless you consider wiping up with dirty towel a "detailing" :) ), but it seems like the owner really cares about buying and selling mechanically sound cars with clean history and good maintenance record. Also, to be fair, all the fanciness (including quality detail) comes at a price, and prices at Platinum Autos are reasonably lower, so that you can pay someone for detail and live with it. In fact, prices were so much lower, that after investing the difference we got cars with mechanical issues at all, and any used car will need investment (normal wear). A month of driving two five year old cars, not a single light came on to indicate an issue (both cars checked for issues by mechanic). This is good by me. One star taken away for you know what :) Cheers!

Sadly I have to give a buyer beware review for Platinum, I recently purchased an Audi Q7 here and during the test drive thought that the brakes felt like they had a bit too much travel in them, I inquired about the brake and was told that all cars they sell are given a full safety inspection, that all safety critical issues are rectified and that it was safe to assume that the brake was just as designed. After a couple of weeks the braking felt increasingly uncomfortable and I thought Id better take it in to a reputable car repair shop to be checked out. It turns out that the entire braking system on the front needs to be replaced and that the braking fluid has become permeated with water, therefore needing to be flushed out with new fluid, total cost: $1,000. I understand that I signed a number of different pieces of paperwork to state that I was buying the car "as is" with no warranty, so in real terms Platinum have done nothing wrong, however I do believe that more could have been done to check the condition of the car and to inform me of the issues, particularly for something as safety critical as the brakes.

I purchased a 2004 Toyota 4Runner from Robert at Platinum Auto Sales in Bellevue. After bad experiences at other dealers, a failed buyers inspection from another Dealers 4runner, I went to see Robert. I thought that there was a problem with the 4Runner as it was at leat $2,000 less than other dealers. I was pleasantly surprised, the car was waiting in front warmed up, Robert said take it where you like. After being stubborn and test driving 2 more cars at other dealers I returned and drove it again. I called on way home and Robert took it off the site when I said I wanted it. I applied online for approval and was financed in 20 minutes. I picked the 4Runner up the next morning, it is beautiful, full dealer records, looks like new and they never pushed got aggressive or made me feel pushed. This was the best car buying experience I have had in 30 years. Quality vehicles, below market price, and no drama. I love the 4runner and will be back for our next car.
