Beyond the call of duty! I drove all the way down from port orchard washington to make a trade "downsizing" my truck. Murphy the sales consultant spent ample time with me on the phone to ensure all questions were answered and any flaws with the truck i was trading for was disclosed. I arrived two hours after closing on a saturday night and Murphy was kind enough to come back down to the lot. To my satisfaction the truck was exactly as described, no suprises and the trade went down flawleslly with no hidden costs or changes in trade quote given over the phone.Well worth the drive, no pushy sales. Contrary to the previous review, I would be understanding if someone had to finish theyre lunch before helping a customer, as a small business owner myself, if I hired someone to give me a lunch break i would have to pass that expense off to the customer, and I have found a little wait for something good is usually well worth it..p.s. I did not see another car lot across the street, and what is an "upscale owner"? I ask the previous reviewer>>

I had a friend recommend happy motors to me when I told him I was looking for a truck. I dont have the best credit in the world and didnt think I had a chance for anyone do you want to finance me. I went happy motors and talked to the owner who was very pleasant and willing to finance me. I found the truck that I wanted but he had just got it in on a trade in and had not had a chance to do any of the normal checks that he does on vehicles before he sells them. me being me I wanted to take the truck home that day. but he was adamant that he could not let the truck go until he had gone over it and done his normal checks. I find this to be very professional and actually makes me feel good about buying a vehicle from him. The few bad reviews that I have read on this website...I find to be very sad because experience that Ive had with this company and its owner had been very very good. I should be able to pick up my new truck on Tuesday and Im very very excited. I would recommend this place to everyone.

I had the unhappy situation of having my normal vehicle break down in Tacoma Wa, 250 miles from home, repairs would have cost more than the value of the vehicle. I was looking around because I needed a new vehicle and ended up buying a small car for cash from Happy Motors (I live in Lincoln City). Jay was friendly and helpful. The car was sold as is and had some minor issues (nothing affecting drivability) It had been a trade in and had not been prepared for sale yet (so the price was lower). Jay even offered to purchase one of the parts at a discount for me and install it. The total cost of all parts for all "needed" repairs was under $100. Given that the car is 15 years old, it is suffering from a few common issues on this model of car... None of them were big items and while they might have affected fuel economy they would not impact drivability, or cause further damage to the car (The EGR valve needed cleaning, no cost, about 30 minutes of time; the headliner was sagging, that sort of thing)

My husband and I live in Bend, Oregon. We have now brought 5 cars from Jay for our family members; three of them while living in Bend. We are continueously amazed in how Jay and his team makes us feel like one of the family, always going above and beyond the call of duty. We have NEVER had any problems with the vehicles we have purchased from Happy Motors. Buying a car from Jay has taken the worry out of purchasing a vehicle from him, we have NEVER been disappointed!! Jay will ALWAYS have our business when we need another vehicle, the 370 mile round trip is definitely worth the hassle free and special attention we always receive. I went to buy a car today and happened to see my car that I wanted even at this place being an upscale owner. I waited for help and then went inside to inquire while the sales guy munched on his food. I asked if he could come outside and show me the car and he said I had to wait till he was done with his lunch needless to say i found the same car across the street and bought it the same day. Thats not how you treat customers especially during our economic hardships were all going through. Plain rude service. and I have heard crap about this place. I do not suggest happy motors. I know id push my lunch to the side if it meant a sell and I was a serious buyer.

May parents have bought there last seven cars from Happy motors all upgrades, and I boutique a van there and my son just got his first car there..they are also fixing my BMW half the price everyone else wanted..it does take time for repairs because they are very busy giving everyone excellent service, all the lot attendants are always nice, helpful and even entertaining! I will not buy a car any where else! And I tell everyone to go to them!

This place is rude!!!!!!!!!!!! I have challenging. So, my only choice is buy here pay here. These guys want to give me $1000 for two trades that I know book at a total of $11,000 then proceed to tell me that they dont even want to work with me admitted they would give me a horrible deal, but since they are my only choice its them or nothing. Ill take nothing.

Tell you that the vehicle is reliable but they lied. week by week Ive been there about 3 times for the same problem and now the brake line just went out, I replaced it myself but ready to get rid of the vehicle its unreliable to drive. cant trust it driving from Newport to Portland Im afraid that it will break down

I had a very unpleasant experience dealing with this company. When I walked onto the lot no one came to assist me, I had to go track someone down. The whole time the guy was very restless and looked preoccupied. I decided to take my business elsewhere. If I could, I would give them no stars.
