I took my 2000 F350 to Power Ford to have my serpentine belt replaced under warranty, as it was making a squeaking noise. They replaced it under warranty with what was supposed to be a Ford OEM serpentine belt. I took my truck to them in October, due to my A/C not working. They did a service, said I was a pound low on freon (even though I had a new A/C compressor installed 4 months earlier). The service was around $250.00. My air conditioner still did not work. I took it back and they replaced my A/C compressor, which was under warranty and did some other work, that cost me over $481.00. I was told there were some other items that should have been replaced at the time the compressor was originally replaced. Turns out my A/C still didnt work. I was in Salem the week after and took my truck into a dealership here in Salem, Hillyards Mid City Ford. They found out that the problem was a sensor and loose wires. I was also informed that a wire clip on the compressor was broken. When wires were jiggled, the A/C worked. I was also shown freon that was on the engine in a few places. After fixing it, I had the service advisor at Hillyard Ford to speak with Mike, the service advisor at Power Ford, and they paid a portion of the bill for me, as they missed that when it was there. I appreciated that. The squeaking noise came back after the A/C work was done at Power Ford, but by then I was in Salem. When I took it into Hillyard Ford to fix the A/C, the squeaking noise wasnt there. When the squeaking sound first starts, it goes away when the engine warms up. I took it back into Hillyard Ford, left it overnight, and when they started it they found out that the serpentine belt had been contaminated with freon. They were going to replace it, as it was still under warranty, but said they had to charge me, as it was a NAPA serpentine belt instead of a Ford OEM belt. I called power Ford, and they told me the serpentine belt was a Ford belt. I checked the part number on the receipt from Power Ford and found out it was an aftermarket NAPA serpentine belt. I called Power Ford to let them know, and see if they would do anything for me. They Paid the bill for me. Things happen, but I appreciate that Power Ford stood behind their work and took care of the bill for me. Not many dealers would do that. Thanks to Mike at Power Ford for standing behind his work, being fair, and makeing the customer happy. Chuck Neault

So called about a specific car and was told they had it there. Got there and the car was gone. Andy the sales person had me in and out of 20 different cars before I knew what was going on. So I find a car I want and go to the sales office and get passed to some Lady sales person, because Andy had to deal with some situation with another customer that went sideways. So from the start this lady wants all my information, and I tell her to slow down I just want to see if the numbers make sense first. I could tell that made her mad. Then she began to tell me she needs that info to get me the numbers. Sense when do you need my social security number and address to tell me how much youre selling the car for. Then we sit for 1.5 hours waiting, finally we go to lunch and come back an hour and a half later. They finally get us in to do paperwork. We go threw the whole extra warranty the Gap insurance sales pitch, I tell them I dont want any of it, And the guy looks at me and says "So your not going to do any business threw us" I tell him look I just bought a 15,000 dollar car from you and was only looking to spend 8 or 9. Also the sales manager wouldnt come down an extra 120 dollars to even the price out. They told me to walk. So as I did I got stopped in the car lot by the salesman and said what if we go half with you. I drove 1.5 hours to get there and needed a car. After 5 1/2 hours I finally pulled out of there to go home. My credit was good and a good down payment and it takes 5.5 hrs wow. I have read other reviews on this sight and know most are self written BS. Save yourself a lot of grief and headaches and just go to Portland.Imho.

Its always a big deal to buy a new car, but the folks at Power Ford made this experience wonderful for me this time around. Kimberlee was the most remarkable, no pressure, no stress sales agent Ive ever met. That was a refreshing change from the normal agents Ive dealt with in other places. And Kenny "the finance guy" - wow - never actually had a fun experience sitting in a finance office going through reams of paperwork before, but this time I actually did enjoy it. Kennys knowledge and experience really shows, and once again his laid-back attitude just put me at ease from the second I met him. Kimberlee had to go all out to fulfill a special order I had and she never wavered in her quest to keep me happy and see this deal through. Kimberlee also made it a point to introduce me to the service department folks and they all seem amazing as well, so Im looking forward to my first experience in that department soon. I now consider both Kimberlee and Kenny new friends, and Power Ford in general to feel like family. I highly recommend this establishment, and especially would recommend Kimberlee if you want to have a great experience while you nail down your new car or truck! These folks ROCK!

I went in to Power ford with my firends that had gotten a car there a few months before and we walked In and asked if they had any Honda elements. They had one that was a beautiful red color and I was in love! Dustin Dawson showed me the car gave me his card and I came the next day with my boyfriend, I test drove it and we loved it! We sat down with Dustin and since neither of us had any credit is was a long process, but Dustin was great and was trying his best to find us the best deal. So it turned out we couldnt afford the Honda even with our 1,000 down, but he kept looking and found a Chevy hhr that was in Salem so we had to come back the next day after they got the car to Newport. After we drove it around I relized I loved that car just as much! Dustin was so helpful with getting us the best deal, the best car and making our payments so affordable! Even though we had to drive back to the dealership three days in a row it was worth it to ge the car we wanted and could afford plus getting the best customer service! Not all sales men are trying to get the best or most expensive deal, Dustin cared about us and treated us so well! I highly recommend him and the Power of ford in Newport.
