Great staff on the floor. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful and professional!! Only 3 stars because: A cashier was impatient with me, and would not fully assist in sales price adjustments. I had to come back a second time, to a sales manager who was equally pushy with me. I was also pressured by that same cashier from earlier about a company policy that I did not fully understand. I would have appreciated an explanation of store policy rather than simply being told no. I felt like I was treated as some kind of bother, very unwelcoming! However, as I said before, the floor staff were wonderful and will keep me coming back! :) Update: My concerns were brought to the attention of the Customer Service Phone Reps. Not only was I able to get the items and discounts I originally wanted, but I was given free shipping to boot! THIS is how a company should operate. Helpful and patient. Not shaming and frustrating! I left my complaint about the cashier and sales manager with Customer Service. The Phone Rep. apologized for all the trouble and assured me they would follow up with additional training for the Woodbridge team. I am VERY satisfied with the company as a whole, but this specific location still has some work to do on treating its customers with respect! Im leaving my review at 3 stars for now, until I see an improvement in that area.

All of the staff was friendly and helpful, but Kit was especially sweet and incredibly helpful! She took the extra step to help me find exactly what I needed without trying to encourage me to break the bank. Shes very efficient and definitely made great suggestions based on the activity I was looking for gear for. She mentioned all the great classes that the offer and how I can easily find them on the REI website, so Im definitely going to look into that. If I wasnt in Woodbridge just for the day this would be my go-to REI.

This place is perfect for your outdoor needs. But not only that. If you need quality winter clothes that really hold up, this is the place to get them. Im also on my third pair of shoes from here. Make sure you talk to Alex when you go there. He really knows what he is talking about and will put you in exactly what you need and not just sell you on the most expensive shoes. They have the most comfortable and best fitting shoes Ive ever put my feet in. For that, they made me a long term customer.

Extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff. I needed a replacement water bladder/reservoir and REI was the only local place carrying it. I was in a hurry and running late but was immediately helped and able to get what I needed and sign up for a membership faster (and at a better price) than anticipated. Im happy this isnt located closer to my house or else Id be worried Id spend all my money!

The best selection of all sorts of camping and outdoor gear in the area. It is worth becoming a member of the co-op to get the dividends. I have been a member since the 60s when they were the only place to get backpacking equipment. Now that I no longer need to go to the office every day, I buy almost all my clothing there. Whatever they sell is always the best quality available.

Rei in general are great stores to shop for outdoor clothes. I personally like the store better in Fairfax but this one has a better and bigger selection for clothes. I especially like the cycling section because you can find most things you need. Looking for a thompson seat post but found it on their website instead.

Not a bad store for an out doors personality. It had a lot of variety and I was overwhelmed by how many hiking/trail shoes they had on display. The customer service was average and it did take me a long time to pay. Besides that I am thoroughly satisfied with my experience.

Outfitted my wife with some supplies for our honeymoon here. The staff was amazingly helpful in sizing her for a large backpack. They were able to provide us with a ton of insight on things we should look for in a bag, even if we didnt buy from them (although we did).

Bought 2 bicycles for my kids, the staff made sure that the bicycle was not only the apropriate measurement but also comfortable and gave us the options of riding the bike , lots of variety to choose from staff really knowledgeable of the equipment.

Great selection of merchandise and friendly staff (not over-bearing and super helpful). Prices are a little high but comes with retail stores. You can defeat that by becoming a member and taking advantage of the members special pricing sales!

REI is one of my favorite stores, and this one is one of the best branches Ive visited. Great selection spread over two spacious floors. Prices not too bad, either, considering the quality of most of the items. Worth a stop!

Some of the staff is a little odd, but otherwise, a standard REI. Bought a bike here and everyone was very nice in assisting me. There are elevators in the back of the store as well.
