Clean store and cheap prices is all this store has going for them. I went there for a gallon of paint(PVA primer) and of course no one working in that section. I flagged down one employee that was walking by and he said he doesnt work in that department but he will get someone. In the meantime I seen 7 different employees walk by, 3 at a distance which one appeared to be a manager that seen me standing there before she turned the corner down another aisle. She walked back by and kept walking and 2 were just standing there talking( of course they split up when that manager walked by and one walked away curling her red dyed hair with her finger. Then 5 minutes after first guy told me he will get someone, I heard over loud speaker customer needs assistance in paint Dept. I stood there another 5 minutes and watched 2 more employees walk right by me and as I stared at them walking by, they didnt even make eye contact with me..they just kept walking by. Then another 2 employees were walking by talking, so I stared at them, after one of them noticed I was looking at them she asked if I needed any help(as if I wanted to be there just standing in the aisle looking at people) she said she would get someone to help. All I wanted was for someone to put the gallon in the shaker, I should have done it myself. I waited for around 10 min and got fed up and left to go pay for my purchase as I approached the register the 2 cashiers were standing there talking so I told my cashier that I stood there and waited on someone to just put the gallon of paint in the mixer. She started telling me they dont have anyone that really works in that department because its still a new store. I told her that I seen a manager walk by twice and that I could have done it myself or at least could have shown someone how. She just smiled at me and sarcastically said awww sorry! She didnt even care that I was upset and didnt even have the gumption to resolve the problem. I understand its tough when your busy, but it was 7:30am and the store was empty of customers. Nothing but employees! Its very very sad. Some people just show up for a paycheck. I hope everyone I spoke about reads this. Yall need to figure something else out...customer service is not your thing. Goodluck!

Worst walmart customer service ever!! Will NEVER come back! 2 friends of mine and I were here, all purchasing different items. One of my friends items were getting rung up and the cashier asked for our IDs since he got cigarettes. Were all over 18 so we showed her our cards. Then she rung up his beer, and asked to see our IDs again. I told her that we werent with him and that we were all purchasing our own items. She said she couldnt sell him the beer because one of us was underage, even though we were all making different purchases. She said it was illegal. So the cashier starts blowing up our balloons I did get to buy, and while we were waiting ( we waited over 20 minutes for 5 balloons to be filled up. ) they started recording us and it showed on the tv. Finally, we get to the car and my friend decided to go back in to get his beer since it was just himself. A few minutes later while im in the car, I look up and the cashier was outside of my vehicle staring me down! She then leaves, my friend comes back a few minutes later and says they cant sell him alcohol ( even though he was over 21 ) because a minor is in the car. First of all, its not illegal to sell someone over the age of 21 alcohol with another person. The alcohol was not being purchased for someone under the age. I looked at the walmart policy and it says nothing about an alcohol policy. Also in the state of virginia, someone thats over the age of 21 can have alcohol in the car as long as they are not driving. Worst walmart ever. Will NEVER give them my money. Dont bother coming here with your kid to purchase alcohol because they will have the wrong idea and refuse your money.

Worst experience ever! I had put in an order for my daughters ice cream birthday cake yesterday so i could have it today for her birthday and then come today i go and try to get my daughters cake but the manager in the bakery doesnt want to decorate my daughters cake even after having the store manager and customer service representatives saying that they would do it! The bakery manager completely disrespected me infront of my daughters, caused me a head ache and made me feel very horrible because today is her birthday and she caused a big deal over nothing! And this was the second time they have done this to me! The walmart in Harrisonburg always decorated any type of cake for me since 2012 and never did this to me or treated me like i was less then a human! I will stop bringing my businesses to walmart and pay extra some where else because to be treated like this just over price difference is not worth it id rather be treated like a human being and be respected like one also. Maybe you all may think that i do this just to get something out of it but im not i just dont want anyone else go thru what i went thru today and for to write any kind of review it reall has to be horrible like today.

Store Manager,I shop at this Store sometimes 3 times a week!!!Today I had one of the best experiences ever at any Wal-Mart!!!! I shopped for only a few items and to my surprise all of the items I needed were freshly stocked and right there!!!!When I came to the check-out there were several empty aisle,but the folks were there to direct me to the open cashiers,they went above and beyond when I had the wrong size item. It is so nice to come to this store and have these lovely folks wait on you and have a cheerful attitude!!!I have worked Saturdays and I am not a fan of weekend work but the people who were attending the registers were so impressive. Way to go yellow jacket ladies and cashiers you make me proud to call Timberville Wal-Mart my home store!!!!! Congratulations Store Manage and Assistant Manager for choosing the best TEAM EVER!!!!!

First & last experience with this store! I placed a order for a cake well in advance for my nephews birthday party, I was told when I ordered it that would be available for pickup by noon at the latest. Sounds good party starts at one Walmart is about 30 mins away. I get a phone the night before the party telling me that my cake wont be ready until 1! Are you kidding me the party starts at 1! Im sorry but you need to hold up to your word, you said noon at the latest then keep it at noon, I had to rearrange the whole party because of this incident!

Wish I could give 0 stars but thats not an option. No one ever around to help with anything or answer any questions. Crappy management and rude staff. Every time I go in this place I am there for over 2 hours simply becsuse I can never find anyone to help me or because there are 2 lanes open in the middle of the day. Just because self checkout is a thing doesnt mean you dont need any cashiers.
