Ok, I usually try to avoid writing negative reviews, but Im completely annoyed with this location tonight. I just hope that an additional negative review will encourage the Wal-Mart leadership team to make improvements... doubt it though. Pros: 1.Location: Its near my apartment. 2. Stock/Availability: They usually have what I need in stock. Thats about it. Cons: Geez, where do I start. 1. Customer Service: There appears to be no desire to provide a pleasurable customer experience. Employees dont smile and rarely greet you as you approach the register. They just start scanning your items and send you off. You may get an insincere "Thank You" after youve paid if youre lucky. Ive worked in retail and customer service so I understand their discontent to some degree, but there still is a certain amount of pleasantries expected when you interact with a customer service professional, even at Wal-Mart. 2. Check Out Experience: Aside from being completely uncongenial, my cashier did this weird thing when she was bagging my items that caused me to leave a bag. I dont know why she couldnt just bag the items and let me pick them up like normal. It was just a completely awkward interaction over all though. Btw, WALMART, Id like to be compensated for my broccoli and cinnamon rolls that were left at your store. :-/ 3. Hours of Operation: I moved to Raleigh about 2 months ago and I was completely shocked to learn that this Wal-Mart (and most in the area) arent open 24 hours. I didnt even think that their were still Wal-Mart Super Centers anywhere that closed at midnight. I definitely wouldnt expect to find this in a major market like Raleigh. 4. Scheduling/Shift Coverage: To echo another review that I saw, this location needs to do a much better job of scheduling employees to provide adequate coverage. Every time that I go to this location, theres only a couple of registers open regardless of the time of the day, month, or year. I always have to wait in line at least 10 minutes whenever I go. Tonight I entered the store through the Market entrance and there were only 3 shopping carts available... seriously, 3! Maybe the cart wrangler called out or something. The scheduling issue doesnt seem to be anything unique to this location though. 5. Management: I dont recall ever seeing a member of management on the floor during any of my visits, which probably explains the other cons listed. Poor employee performance often indicates poor leadership. Maybe a change in management is whats needed to improve the conditions at this location. I think that I may just venture out a little further to try a different location for future visits, because despite my frustration with Wal-Mart, I know that I cant avoid going to one ever again. I will definitely try to avoid this terrible experience for as long as I can though.

Please inform your employees how to properly examine someone intoxicated. I wish I knew the cashiers name. Before ever asking "how are you today?" Which actually she never did at all. She looked at me and had the audacity to ask "are you drunk" simply because I was buying wine and my face was "really red". Well I chose to not explain that I suffer from roscsia, a condition in which the nerves in my face do not adequately get enough oxygen so yes my face is red almost 24/7. I found it to be extremely rude to accuse me of being intoxicated before even speaking to me. I was a bartender for 7 years, that was never a way to properly deal with a situation IF someone was actually drunk. Nor was their face being red....please inform your employees of better ways to deal with situations, and inform them better of obvious signs of intoxication...like slurring words, glossy eyes, loud and obnoxious, not being able to stand up straight, clumsy movements. NOT a red face....she has no idea how much she humiliated me by asking me that at 4pm, with other customers behind who can clearly hear her. She proceeded to explain she was recently Im trouble for selling alcohol to someone under the influence I understand she was attempting to do the right thing....but in the wrong for how she chose to go about it. Please fix it.

Terrible service. I went to the tire center, they didnt have the tires I wanted so I purchased them online and had them sent to the store. The tires were shipped quickly and arrived at the store in a few days. I went to have them installed when they arrived, they told me that they didnt have time that day I got there around 3 p.m and the tire center closed at 7 p.m. I just figured they had a lot of services before mine even though they only had one car in the garage area and a lot of employees were standing around talking. I called the next day around 1 p.m and asked if they could install the tires if I arrived around 2:30 and they said they would have time to install the tires no problem. I get to Wal-Mart at 2:30 and they tell me that they cant install them that day because "everyone who can do that is leaving at 4". I told them I called and was assured that my tires could be installed, the response I got was "They didnt know what they were talking about". I had the tires loaded into my car and took them to Wal Mart in Brier Creek who installed them right away. I will never order tires from Wal Mart again, I rarely shop there but will make a point to avoid it at all costs now.

Ive been shopping at this location for awhile without an issue. Best shoe selection of all the Wal-Marts nearby! However the customer service desk is hardly an excuse for customer service!!! I was verbally attacked and insulted today by a manager named Zappora because I counted my cash out on the counter and did not pick it up to hand to her within a millisecond of laying down the last dime. I told her I didnt mean any ill intention (twice) but she wouldnt have it. I was absolutely appalled and shocked by her behavior. Completely uncalled for and disgusting. The store manager was kind enough to listen and take time to ease my distress but I am very wary of shopping at this location again. She wasnt willing to make my $5 diaper return/adjustment and made me the target for her personal stressors. Not ok. I am a grown woman and I left in tears.

I wish I could rate them zero. Terrible customer service. I called the store for assistance, someone would pick up the phone and then hang up. This happened three times. Finally got someone in customer service who transferred me to electronics and of course no one answered. Call then rang back to customer service rep who says "well I cant leave the customer service desk". Instead of her providing good customer service and offering to get someone, I had to ask for a manager, who could go to electronics. She agreed that was a good idea. Instead of a manager coming to assist, the customer service rep comes back and tells me that she is going to transfer my call, she has notified electronics and someone is waiting on my call. She transferred me and of course no one answered. This Walmart is the worst!

Went to Walmart to buy tires. I purchased the tires and wanted them installed.I was informed that they could not install the tires because their equipment was malfunctioning and the rack would not support my truck. I suggested they raise the vehicle with the floor jacks and change the tires. They said the jacks would not work either. When I asked for my warranty the clerk pointed to my receipt. I left and went to another Walmart. Another story. Read it at the Wake Forest store. My impression, as a business man myself, is that they just didnt want to do the work. I spent $515 at this store and was basically sent on my way. No tire warranty, no installation. I will NEVER buy tires at Walmart again. I give them a less than 0 score.
