Working with Kai & the MiLA Bridal team ensures you are truly in expert hands with dress alterations. Kai blew me away with joy after completing various complicated alterations to my wedding gown. My wedding dress had an extremely delicate lace/illusion top that did not have the sleek, fitted silhouette I wanted, and by the last dress fitting, I was thoroughly elated with the romantic silhouette Kai gave me. The alterations made me look even more timeless, classic, & unique than when I had originally found & fallen in love with the dress. Many places I researched in Richmond simply cannot compete with the custom designs, expert seamstress, and reliable gown preservation MiLA offers consistently. Kai & MiLA also became the supportive friends I needed while planning my wedding with family living out of state. Going through the process alone, Kai shared the best beauty secrets, took time to teach me invaluable tips, helped me find the best undergarments & accent jewelry to compliment the look, and allowed me to practice bustling & dancing in the dress to make sure I left with my dress dreams come true! She sincerely cared about me and wanted me to have the happiest experience beginning to end. I cannot thank you enough Kai! I guess the saying 3 times the charm is true. Mila bridal was the 3rd bridal shop I had visited when i started my search for my gown. When I arrived I couldnt help but realized how calming and relaxing the atmosphere was unlike the many boutiques i had been to in the past. We sat down and they asked my a few questions about my preferences and vision. I had been very particular in other visits and this time I decided to be open to any and all dress styles. we spent the whole hour trying on and narrowing down my style, but the last dress was a Davinci gown and I couldnt believe when i saw myself I was on the verge of tears.. I would always hear people say you know when its the one. and didnt think a dress could give me that feeling but it did I fell in love. I did decide to check a few other store and in between other visits i found myself back at Milas trying on "my dress". Eash visit (about 6 times lol) they welcomed me with opened arms and never once made me feel pressured to buy. last day of the year 12.31.16 I made my purchase for my july 2017 wedding. I recently took home my gown after Ive continued to make countless changes because i couldnt make my mind up. But Khi and the seamstress were sooo kind sweet and patient and didnt stop until I was completely satisfied. I would recommend everyone to have this at the top of your list. they are professional, experienced, and dedicated to you and you vision. Thank you again for bring my vision to life and being so patient with me :)

I have been to a total of 20 bridal boutiques, including Kleinfeld in NY, and this place bests all. Due to my picky nature, I did not find a dress at miLA at the time, but I will definitely return for the new arrivals! I arrived at the store without an appointment and was not turned away like what happened at other boutiques or shops. Kai came out and greeted me immediately. She was extremely helpful and nice. I came into the store asking for a dress that would be close to the $700 range. Usually stores would make me feel like I was crazy to come in with such a low budget and take me as a joke for the rest of the appointment, but not this place. All other places that I have been to so far, I felt like a regular girl browsing for a simple dress. At miLA, I felt like THE bride looking for her dress. Kai helped me with looking for the style of dress that I like, explaining the different kinds of veil, suggesting hair styles, and pretty much going above and beyond! Brides, do not shy away because it is in Stony Point! You should stop by, take a look, and actually see what real high quality customer service and bridal experience is all about!

Came here for my sisters wedding dress, felt completely unwelcomed. The consultant didnt want to be here nor put in any effort to help. They closed at 7 oclock and when asked to try on another dress 15 minutes before 7, the response was oh no you guys gotta go Im sorry. Secondly Hope you didnt want to pick out your own dress because they pick out dresses that they think that you will like instead of you browsing and choosing some you like. Once the dress is on and you come out to show the anteradge, you can only take 1 picture per visit out of the many you try on. And lastly be sure to use the bathroom before going to the store because they have a bathroom and will let you spend thousands and thousands of dollars there but make you walk half way across the mall for a bathroom emergency. Safe to say this star is only because some of the dresses were pretty.

Dear Kara, Thank you for your prompt response to our review. I do not engage in public argument, but would like to support the previous review. If you closed 20 minutes after 7:00, instead of at 7:00, the doors would not have been locked as we tried to exit the store. I unlocked it myself before you came to the front to assist. When asked about the urgent bathroom need for a youngster, you stated that you did in fact have a bathroom in the store, but it was not for public use. The store is lovely, and there are beautifully designed dresses, but for a business trying to make a sale, the customer service did not reflect that. We appreciate the complimentary scheduled appointment, but will make our investment in another boutique. Thank you for your time and best wishes.

I’m so thankful I decided to call and make a bridal appointment with miLA – it turned out to be one of the best decisions I made over the year long wedding planning process! Kai’s designs are absolutely stunning and I fell in love with one of the first dresses I tried on. It was a beautiful lace gown with a trumpet shape, and I chose a lovely crystal belt and hair piece from miLA’s collection to add to the look. From the first appointment until the day I took my finished dress home with me, Kai and the other ladies at Mila were a pleasure to work with. The tailor at the salon worked tirelessly to make sure the keyhole lace back of my dress was perfectly symmetrical, and every detail looked flawless. Thanks to them, I received many compliments on my big day!

Mila was by far the best experience I had when I was picking out my perfect dress. The girls were so fun and generous with their time. They let me try on all kinds of dresses and had us laughing the whole time. They are the most welcoming and so patient with any questions I had. Ultimately, they helped me change some of the design of my dress so its original for me! For all of my fittings they have given me their full attention. I have never felt like I was being pushed out so they could see the next person. I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience. I went to about 5 bridal boutiques and picking Mila for my wedding dress was the easiest wedding decision I made for the entire process.
