I purchased a bridesmaids dress here and I truly wish I hadnt based on the awful customer service experience. Im My MIL and I searched for days resses without any assistance (not a big deal, just a little awkward, we werent greeted either) and when someone finally came to check on us the owner repeatedly hassled about what size they would need to order for me (like repeatedly telling my MIL while I was in the changing room that her samples wouldnt fit me--we knew that we just needed to get an idea, right?). Once I picked a dress, she established what size I would need. Then, I asked her for her professional opinion--thinking there might be a chance I could be expecting by the time of the wedding--I needed her help to determine if I should order up a size, or other alteration strategies/options, etc. She gave me the most disgusted look--like she could gag at the thought, looked me up and down and then told me "You? Order two sizes up." Again, the experience just seemed so unbelievably ridiculous that I laughed it off (something out of "What would you do?")--my MIL on the other hand, was almost in tears. Having been in the wedding dress business herself, she was blown away by the poor service and these multiple negative interactions with the owner. Maybe we just caught her on a bad day. Either way, if I didnt have to buy the dress there, I wouldnt have. The last thing Im looking forward to is going back and having to interact with woman for my alterations... To top it off the dress had to be ordered in October for an April wedding (according to the shop). I know the bridesmaid dresses (purchased elsewhere) for my own wedding took half the time (maybe even less), were much more inexpensive and still looked lovely. I joked to my husband that in that amount of time, the dress could have been ordered from Mars...

I purchased my dress from a bridal store in NJ while I was living there. I moved to VA, and decided to get my dress altered in VA so I wouldnt have to commute back and forth from NJ to VA for dress fittings. I thought I did a lot of research and got lucky when I found Leesburg Bridal, but I was wrong. Long story short, I went by myself to have my dress altered, so it was just my point of view (looking down and looking in the mirror) to see the dress, and the employees opinion - the professionals. For the hem, I watched her cut the second layer of my ball gown dress - no issues. I believed she would match the top layer to the cut she made on the second layer. I came back to try it on, and it still seemed long, but she said she would take a little more up, and I could pick it up a week later without trying it on, and thats what I did. A family member brought the dress back to NJ that day, and after reviewing photos I took at the fitting, I became paranoid it was still too long, so I went back and bought a petticoat just in case, hoping it would poof the dress out more and shorten it. When I got to NJ - two days before my wedding, it was in fact, too long, and the petticoat did not help. I took the dress to my local and trusted seamstress for an emergency alteration, and she pointed out SHE DID NOT HEM THE DRESS. She cut the second layer, but DID NOT HEM the top layer. How does that make sense? It was still the manufacturers seam on the top layer. Not only was I out the $300.00 for the alteration and the $75.00 for the petticoat, but I had to pay for the emergency alteration. I absolutely positively do not recommend Leesburg Bridal for alterations.

Leesburg Bridal has been soooo amazing!!! My entire family has gone here. I bought my dress in 2009 to marry my husband, my sister-in-law bought her dress here, and my sister after searching numerous Bridal shops in NOVA finally found The One here too! We all have very different tastes too. Their selection might seem small but in my opinion thats because they only take the best dresses of different styles and designs to show! They have amazing high quality dresses and excellent seamstress. We couldnt be happier than our experience with Leesburg Bridal, their staff KNOWS what they are doing! To add to our awesome service my matron of honor dress was purchased online and up a couple sizes because I will be 9 months pregnant and needed to order the dress when I was 5 months pregnant. One they had no issues about the dress coming from somewhere else and did an amazing job getting it to fit properly with my very pregnant self. They are too the point, get the job done, and very high quality. If you want to pay someone to tell you what you want to hear maybe a different shop caters to that but if you want the real deal with experts who have been doing this for decades go to Leesburg Bridal!

My experience with Leesburg Bridal and Tuxedo was exceptional in every way!!! I went to this boutique on the recommendation of my wedding florist because I had been unable to find a dress with ¾ length sleeves that I thought was attractive and appropriate for an older bride. Price was also an important consideration for me. After looking at 5 dresses that Nga brought to me to try on, I found the dress I wanted at a very reasonable price. Although the dress did not have sleeves, Nga assured me that she could make sleeves that would perfectly suit the dress and be exactly what I wanted. Truly that is what happened. As it turned out, the dress was even more beautiful with the sleeves that Nga added, along with the rhinestone and lace trim that so coordinated with the bodice of the dress that it looked as though the dress had been originally made that way. Throughout my wedding day I had guests commenting on the exquisiteness of my dress! It fit perfectly, thanks to Nga’s patience and amazing skill as a seamstress and I felt lovely in it! If I ever have need of another formal dress, I will be heading straight to Leesburg Bridal and Tuxedo!

This review is a bit late considering I was married a year ago and went to this shop in December of 2014, but Ive meaning to write this review for Nga, so here it is. Nga was such a pleasure to work with. I was home for 1 week over a Christmas vacation and I really wanted to pick out my dress with my mom there. We tried on several dresses before finding the one I really wanted. Unfortunately, they didnt have it in my size. Nga gave an extreme discount on the shipping cost to rush it in and then she had it altered by the end of the week!! She was so wonderful and willing to work with me and my family. My mom liked her so much that she picked out her mother-of-the-bride dress there. Nga did the alterations and both dresses were so beautiful (and within the price we told her we needed!). She even adjusted my mothers veil for me for free. Thank you so much to Nga and the others at Leesburg Bridal. While the shop is definitely small and unassuming, it was the perfect, low pressure place that I needed to find a beautiful dress.
