This was the worst store by far that I went to visit. I do not expect much from stores, especially bridal places but this place was just bad! I must say though I did enjoy to see the dresses on the mannequins but thats all. I was told by the owner to walk around and start choosing the dresses I liked and someone would be with me to help me. First of all, the woman who helped me, never introduced herself and then starts rushing me! Tells me not to even bother looking at the sales dresses and just to try on what Ive picked so far. The dressing rooms are roomy but the lady had to put clips on the window draping that they use as doors and then when I was going to put the dress on semi-nude, she barges in without even forewarning me! I finally end up liking one of the dresses and the owner comes over and tells me its a couture dress and how I need to get now! Very pushy! To the point where my mom and I felt put off and we werent able to say a word to each other because they kept talking over us. My mom pulls me to side and shows me a dress that she thinks Ill like. I was a bit hesitant but I did it to please her so I let the lady know that Id like to try it on. She gives me a nasty attitude about me trying it on to please my mother. She takes the dress to the back and I go to try it on. I realize she isnt there to help with the dress so I call my mom to help me. I ended up loving the dress and actually would have purchased it but then every one left. The owner yelled, yes yelled at me because I wasnt choosing the couture dress. I dont care if its couture or not! Thats when I decided as much as I wanted the dress, it was not worth dealing with owner who is nasty, unprofessional and completely lacks respect to her customers. And the same goes to her employees. I finally did see the lady who was helping me when I was in my car...walking to her car!!! Please do not go here. I even went on a weekday and this store was by far the worst store I had ever been to!

To Whom It May Concern: I have known White Swan Boutique and its Designer / Owner for several months now. To the best of my knowledge, there is no other one-of-a-kind, custom design, European couture service of this type available in the Mid-Atlantic region, certainly not in a price range most of us can afford. Through my experience, I have found White Swans Designer / Owner and creative genius, Milla, to be industrious, honest and willing to donate her genius and beautiful creations for the benefit of worthwhile causes such as the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. Through her business she is creating job opportunities for and training skilled craftsmen, sales people and other staff whom might otherwise have not had the opportunity. She is not taking someone elses job, she is making new ones, contributing to our communities tax base and economy. She is not unfairly competing with other businesses, there are no others providing this unique combination of product and service. The demand for evening attire and bridal gowns in this metropolitan area has always been high. There are several black tie events every month and in this small high society community, it is not uncommon to see the same gown design worn by different people during the evening. Every woman dreams of owning a one-of-a-kind design but very few have access to a designer even if they could afford it. Since I found the boutique a few months ago, I truly believe that the boutique, through its owner / designer Lyudmila, is filling this void by its exclusive design approach. Lyudmilas designs won 1st Prize in European fashion shown and she now brings her talent to us. She is the artist behind each creation. She has designed several garments for me, each for a special purpose in mind. I am certain I will never see my ball gown worn by anyone else. I have shared my experience with others and now her clientele extends from this metropolitan area to Europe.

I had a fantastic experience at White Swan Bridal, I cant say enough great things about them! The great thing about their shop is that all their dresses are on mannequins, so you can see them rather than sorting through bags. This made it so simple for me, and I found my dress within trying on about 10 dresses. I had a shop associate helping me through my entire appointment - recommending what she thought would look good on me, helping me into dresses, recommending accessories, and answering all my questions. When I found my dress, I loved it, but wanted a low V-cut back on it, instead of it being cut straight across. They said it could be easily done, and gave me a reasonable price. I purchased my dress, veil, and beaded belt from here as well and they were able to give me a packaged deal on all three - they are very focused on pleasing their customers, which was amazing.They also measured me and ordered the dress in my measurements, as opposed to ordering it in a size and having it altered. They did let me know however they would alter it (at no cost) if it was a size too big or too smalI. My first fitting, it fit great and just needed to be taken in a bit. I ordered my dress is July, it came in in December, and had two fittings up until my wedding in May. After my wedding, while I was on my honeymoon, my mom wasnt sure where to get my dress cleaned and preserved, so she called White Swan and they told her to bring it in and they would take care of it. The price was reasonable as well. The staff here is so helpful and friendly and made my dress experience so special and stress free. I could not recommend them enough!!!

I had originally planned to get married in August so i picked out my dress in January (after trying on WAY too many) and i was very happy with it, They have a great selection and are very knowledgeable and honest about how it looks on you, and giving suggestions because they know their inventory very well. Well, some things came up and I called to see if they would be able to rush my alterations, initially she said it would take about a month (and my heart sank, because we had planned to get married two days from me making this call....my dad had cancer (and though he is in remission) i was afraid if we waited too long he might not have made it to walk me down the aisle... so instead of bringing it back to her in june/july like we had discussed, I called on February 10 and (didnt explain the situation) but asked if it was possible to have it by February 12... first she said no, but then asked if i had purchased the dress from her (which i had), she said "can you get it here by 6 tonight? (of course) She said "I always take care of my customers, we will get it done"... It was done on time and fit perfectly, and i couldnt be more thankful to have found this shop... Ill be purchasing another dress for our May 2017 reception , and I will DEFINITELY be coming back to White Swan. I have also recommended them to a few of my good friends.
